“Amazing Lake Overlook”

Overall Rating

We stayed at an ACE paid campground up the road because it was the weekend and Walleye Tournament so I was worried about getting a spot on the weekend.

But then we drove down to Duck Creek to scout it out and we would have MUCH rather stayed here! There were a few areas available on Saturday night at 7:00, even for a big rig.

There are fire rings and picnic table dispersed throughout. One table does not equal one spot as people were gathered in pretty large groups but there were solo rigs as well. It's not so much designated spots as it is dispersed. The only rule on the signage coming in was to park on numbered roads. There were 'No Camping' signs clearly visible in the areas not allowed which included the day use area by the fish cleaning station.

There are a few branches off the main road, plenty of room to explore. Some spots were up higher overlooking the lake and some within a short distance of the shore.

This area looked popular but not uncomfortably busy.

Verizon service worked well. Excellent area for Starlink. Access is about a mile on dirt road with a very short bit of it being washboard.
