Freshly Painted Baths And Showers With Good Hot Water And Pressure. Pleasant staff. Good place to swim and ride bikes.

If i were to do it again, we would stay near the bottom of Flaming Gorge. This campground was adequate. We had a covered picnic table. Site was not very level. If i were to do it again, we would stay near the bottom of Flaming Gorge. This campground was adequate. We had a covered picnic table. Site was not very level. There is a campground host, but we never saw them until we were leaving. There were 4 showers, (1 handicap, 1 family and 2 regular) Only one had hot water and it wasn't one of the ones I used. We left a note on the post as we left, but I think they already knew!

Because of the heat, we asked if there were any electrical sites for three nights, they could tell us just the current night, but nothing in advance as the reservations were brought out on “Wednesdays” only and could not be counted on to be accurate. Because of the heat, we asked if there were any electrical sites for three nights, they could tell us just the current night, but nothing in advance as the reservations were brought out on “Wednesdays” only and could not be counted on to be accurate. Hosts were very nice, this was not their fault. We camped in our reserve no electrical site. This portion of the campground was basically empty, except we did have a tent next to us with an after 10 pm arrival of a noisy family, arguing between spouses until one drove off. Thankfully they packed up and left the next day. With the breeze and sitting under one of the few olive trees it was bearable. An aside there was one electrical that was empty the whole time. The water was way down, and if we were going to use it again, I would check on it before deciding to stay.

This small USFS Campground has a water fill and dump station, and a few reservable sites with electric, otherwise it’s dry camping. Most sites are back-in, have a shaded picnic table, but with only a couple exceptions, the sites are pretty short (<30’). This small USFS Campground has a water fill and dump station, and a few reservable sites with electric, otherwise it’s dry camping. Most sites are back-in, have a shaded picnic table, but with only a couple exceptions, the sites are pretty short (<30’). VERY clean flush-toilet bathrooms & hot showers. 0-1 bar Verizon & AT&T cell signals; clear satellite shots to Southern sky. The road in to the area from Wyoming Hwy 530 is paved, leading to a boat ramp and a VERY small store; come with a stocked refrig/cooler. It’s a great place to stay if first time to the Flaming Gorge Recreation Area, allowing easy access to explore the MANY dispersed camping locations along the West side of the reservoir for possible future free camping. Would have given it more stars if not for the boat storage area / junkyard near the entrance to the campground.

No Verizon. ATT slow. I was online and reservation.gov had a smattering of reservations and many FF sites mixed in. Turns out the electric sites get booked up fast, m months in advance. No Verizon. ATT slow. I was online and reservation.gov had a smattering of reservations and many FF sites mixed in. Turns out the electric sites get booked up fast, m months in advance. The sign says "Occupy a site and return in 20 minutes with your pay envelope. No pay envelopes. The Steel pipe to deposit tickets has been long duct taped over. The camp host was walking around, but when I tried to approach he walked away faster. I waited by his golf cart for a while, but he was not interested. Total chaos. No place to pay, camp host elusive, government.gov just says: " FF, first come, first served. You cannot reserve this site,"

Got the site we paid for. Host had no interaction with campers. The dump station is inop going on 3 years. Nothing to write home about but not bad enough to day won't go back. The campground at Lucerne looks much nicer.

Although this campground is 29 miles from interstate 80, it is worth the trip. The roads are paved and access was fine, pulling a 30 foot travel trailer. Although this campground is 29 miles from interstate 80, it is worth the trip. The roads are paved and access was fine, pulling a 30 foot travel trailer. This is high desert and the aroma of sage was all around. Bathroom and showers were clean. All sites have a nice view of the reservoir. Beautiful sunset. The campground was about 3/4 full, but it was quiet and peaceful. There were sprinklers on all day and night in some parts of the campground; those sites were damp due to the constant water from the sprinklers. Was not able to make cell phone calls with Verizon, but was able to text and get on the internet. Price quoted reflects the Senior Pass discount.

This location is at a marina on the reservoir but didn't see much traffic and the campground was mostly empty in late June 2012. There’s no shade, but there are showers, very clean restrooms, water at a couple locations, and a dump station. $22 for power sites unless you’re fortunate enough to have someone with a Senior Access pass which dropped the cost to $13.
