The Main Road Was Good I’d Follow That All The Way Down , The Sprout Of Different Roads Got A Lil Sketch For Me Not Used To Off Roaring But Also Wanna Try Camping There So I Don’t Wanna Break Something

Spending a few days roaming around the flaming gorge national rec area. Lucked out in finding this location. The views were pretty. At night however, the view was awesome. Such openness. Clear night with a partial moon. No lights from anywhere. Stars stars everywhere. It was off season however the pit toilet was open (yes!!). Not a... more
Spending a few days roaming around the flaming gorge national rec area. Lucked out in finding this location. The views were pretty. At night however, the view was awesome. Such openness. Clear night with a partial moon. No lights from anywhere. Stars stars everywhere.
It was off season however the pit toilet was open (yes!!). Not another soul - either in the area or on any of the forest roads to get here.

We parked off the road last right before the boat launch. Wonderful views and sunrises. There are many places to park. Good road a little washboard in some spots but not bad at all.

I didn’t actually have time to go down there but I could see a few bigger 5th wheels. In general all the road have been good around here. Probably from less than normal usage.
