Blacks Creek Rest Area Eastbound

There is no camping signs everywhere. Main building closed. Only access was porta potties.

Park in the back with the semis and buses. Felt safe. Very large lot.

We had a great free overnight stay here with our lab.

Bathrooms were clean
Easy available lanes

Great place to pull over and rest. Their pet area is nice and the were plenty of spots on a Friday afternoon. We were able to open our slides and have lunch while my husband finished up his work day.

One of the larger and nicer rest stops we've stayed at. Plenty of room on the trucker's side. Far enough away from the freeway not to be bothered by the noise. We parked along the curb by the grass area and weren't disturbed by the big rigs.

We grabbed the last available designated parking spot as a bunch were taken up by huge oversized loads. Rest stop seemed fairly clean and non-sketch. Obviously it is quite noisy being parked between semis but it also felt reasonably safe and private squeezed between them. :)
The posted max time is 8 hours.

We needed a place to stop and sleep over night. This rest stop was easy to get on and off from the highway. Tons of truck/RV parking. Pretty and well maintained. Only noise was that of trucks running to keep their AC going.
