Is there somewhere nearby to get potable water for an rv? Also, where do people dump after staying here? TIA

I will agree that the sites are dusty and there is road noise. However, for $10 a night and access to the water, we were THRILLED. We arrived early, and since it was hot in the RV, we spent the whole day tanning on one of the many little docks and swimming to our hearts content. The camp host was so sweet. He checked on us multiple times, gave us souvenirs and told us about some neat places to check out. I will definitely be coming back.
We had zero cell service.
CookieHilston would stay here again

The price reflects our senior pass discount. This is a great place for tent campers as the tent sites are shaded , on the waterfront, each with a dock, and with vault toilets and a hand pump water spigot nearby. On the other hand, the RV sites are across the road, up on the hillside without any shade or water pump access nearby. The road through the RV area is dirt, so not only do you get the road noise from below, but also the dust from all the boating people using the RV area as a turn-around-loop road. There are no trash receptacles here and sadly, people tend to leave trash behind in their sites. There is no dump station here either. The scenery is beautiful, so if you are here when it is cooler weather or you don't require electricity to run your air-conditioning, you will probably like it here better than we did.

“Beautiful view, tent sites are nice”

The view from the RV side is beautiful, but unless you are staying here to spend your time on the water or ATVs, there is not much for RVers as the sites are small and dusty. The tent sites are nice and there is a nice boat ramp. We were there in May so the weather was not too hot and there was no charge for the campsite.
