Overall Rating

Showed up around 11 due to another rest stop being too noisy. This place was only a qt full. Some ppl hanging around their vehicles. But everyone was pretty quiet. Cleaning crew shows up around 7am. The place is pretty clean and a rustic scenic background.

Overall Rating

There was road noise and a train going through at night, but that didn’t bother us at all. Parking area was filled with other overnighters come morning. We arrived early and enjoyed a safe, restful night.

“Great Rest Stop Close To Vail. ”

Great Rest Stop For Rv’s And Travel Trailers. No Semi Trucks Can Park Here So There Was Plenty Of Spots Late. I Pull A 30 Foot Trailer And Had An Easy 10-15 Feet Left In Parking Spot. Interstate Close By So Can Get Kind Of Noise At Time Is Only Bad Thing.

Bair Ranch Rest Area is provided and maintained by the Colorado DOT. It is between the Colorado River and I-70 at 6100 feet elevation, and has restrooms, picnic tables, car and Semi/RV parking (6 spaces), with a bit of slope handled by leveling blocks.
