“Mosquito Sanctuary ”

We pulled in for one night over Labor Day weekend, found a spot (not with lake view) pretty quickly. All the lake spots were filled. Paid $10 for camping with no amenities. Plus $8 daily non NE resident state park pass. Quiet and spacious. Lots of room for large rigs. Plan to do your campfire before dark though. As soon as the sun goes down you’re attacked by mosquitoes.

“Good access on Hwy 25”

Reviewed 9/12/2016

Overall Rating

The West shore has better access since hwy 25 keeps you on pavement right to the campground. When you enter you will see rows of camping areas among the trees and the fishing cleaning station to the right.

The main road goes to the left and has a turn around loop at the end for any size rig.
If you go to the right just pay attention to the trees.

$8.00 per night plus $5.00 per day entry fee or $26.00 annual pass available on line or at concessions
