The grass had sharp things from the grass everywhere. Not a welcome at all at check in. No instruction, smile, thanks, nothing. Place was dead. Which is fine, just an overnight. Walked to the beach. Not particularly clean beach or water’s edge. Didn’t think swimming was a good idea unfortunately. The dog got those sharp thorns on her. Terrible for her walking. Lots of mosquito and similar bugs just invading the RV and we didn’t really even have any lights on. We thought a big box store parking lot would have been much better. Wouldn’t stay there again for sure. Would find another option. All was way less than fine, but, hey, you learn as you go.

Called last minute while driving up the highway to see if they had any room for me and my 21 ft travel trailer. Luckily they did. I arrived shortly there after and was very greeted by name. I was looking for the Sutherland Rec area and free camping when I turned into this place. It is within the rec area but it's a regular RV park. Since my rig is 63 feet long and I cant back up I decided to stay here while I explored the area. This is a private campground and golf course with about 30 sites. They have water and electric and a dump station. Hook ups are $25.00 per night and dry "beach" camping is $10.00 or $7.00 for tents. The beach camping is very limited and not for big rigs. It's off angle and more of a tent or smaller rv area. There were a couple FW in the beach area though.
They let me dry camp in the hook up area for $10.00 because it was off season. There are a few live in working people but everyone was very friendly and helpful. It's quiet at night and no one messes with your stuff.
My Verizon 4 G showed 2 bars and had a good data connection.
Good television air signal.
Not far to fuel and party store.
Easy to drive through with any rig.
Call first if in season, the sites are in a terraced design and not all pull through.
Pretty quiet even during the day.
K would stay here again
