“Cool little park - sites a bit awkward for larger RVs”

Overall Rating

We stayed here for 3 nights in late July of 2022. In looking at the website online, the campground looks flat - not so - it is hilly and some of the sites a bit awkward to get in. Site 8 was a bit uphill & odd-shaped. Sites 10 & 11 were much nicer and had a bit of water view. Sites 1 & 2 are down at the water and were really nice - full of families & little kids over the weekend - place completely cleared out on Sunday! Other than the super nice camphost, Fran, we were the only ones there! Nice little lake - great for a swim and our Lab loved it. Also good walking along the road to the "wine hut" - nice girl there too. Interesting area, but next time I would want site 1 or 2.
