Arrived mid afternoon, still lots of sites available. A number of pull thru’s for big rigs. We just stayed the night but looked like a lot of 4 wheelers were there for the weekend

This is an easy location to explore Ashland, Bayfield, and Kimball Falls.
It is along Hwy 2 so there is road noise.

Easy check in. Nice spacious sites with good hookups. Long sites, with easy big rig friendly roads. Good food at the bar. Very nice bar, looks new.

A very nice place to stay for a few days. Exceeded our expectations. Quiet, although adjacent to US-2. Forested sites, sunny sites, partially shaded. FHU and up to 50A. Sites are generously spaced. Even a playground.

Travelling eastbound needed a place to recuperate. Directly off US-2, we were concerned with potential road noise, but the traffic noise was minimal and settled down around 9:00pm. They are working hard on the facilities and amenities. The picnic tables were freshly refurbished and painted. The bathrooms have flush toilets, showers were heated and very clean. There are laundry facilties with two washers and dryers. Some sites were very open and spacious while others were tight. Many options regarding electricity, water, and sewer.
Great place to stay for a couple days if you have Side-by-Side or towed vehicle for touring area. Nothing within walking distance except Gas Station/Camp store/Bar combination.
I would stay here again based on quietness, access, and cleanliness of facilties and grounds. They will be full this weekend, I suspect because of color tours and Bow hunting season.
Internet was slow. Usual campground service, but cell service was very good.

Amazing place when we needed to stay a few days to catch up with school for the kids... my only complaint is that on the last day the internet was very weak but overall quiet, beautiful spot.

I was apprehensive to stay here because there are no reviews and the Google Satellite views make it look old and not much fun. But I risked it anyway. It is fantastic. The place is very well taken care of and the bar and restaurant are pretty good too. The sites are wide and long.
