We could hear the highway noise because we parked close to the front but it wasn’t bothersome. The mountains in the sky and sunsets are amazing out here. I would definitely stay here again.

Parker n about 1/4 mile off highway on an area that has some gravel and was very solid when we arrived. After a pretty steady rain in the night the ground was soft enough I needed 4WD turning around. Would stay here again for one nighter but would find firmer ground if rain was predicted. Some highway noise but no more than many of the overnight locations we frequent.

Went about 3/4 mile in. Saw several rigs parked in side roads, vans and 20’ bumper pulls. We found a spot on the right by a USGS monitoring point. Plenty of room for our 37’ fifth wheel to turn around.

My wife and I love traveling in our little teardrop and finding great spots like this one. It’s right off the highway with easy access. The road coming in was easy and had to go back quite a bit but found a level spot. Be cautious going too far back in the rain. There are signs about drug smugglers in the area and I don’t know if it was that or the fact my motion sensor light went off multiple times in the night but I had a weird feeling so after the work week I left. The signal was good and the spot was BEAUTIFUL however at my site there was quite a bit of trash and even a large black bag of human waste. There were also what looked like a burned mini mattress (springs just remained) and other items I think that also added to my caution. With being said the place is quiet and gorgeous. Plenty of space for the pups. It can get some noise from the base with jets/Sonic booms but only happened on the Friday. I would go back but maybe stay closer to the entrance next time.

right off the highway and not too loud. I only went about a mile in, and only passed 1 other group in a large lot. the spot I had was back in some trees and had a fire pit. the road wasn't too bad.
