Says 26ft limit on many sites. So is that strict? Even a 30’foot trailer is too long?

This is one of our most favorite spots we’ve stayed in a while, it has all our favorite things- trees to make you feel like you are in nature, lake views and an easy walk down from your site to sandy beach coves with water that’s a lovely shade of blue you wouldn’t expect from a lake.
The spots are mostly on little mini loops on different peninsulas, so even though the campground is large it feels much smaller and private. A good number of the spots have lake views but some are just wooded. The spots are paved asphalt for your rig and then packed sand/dirt area for the picnic table and grill. Ours was a bit of a tricky angle to back in but most of them are just a straight shot. The roads through the park are narrow and we definitely understand why they don’t allow big rigs.
One thing to be aware of is the gate to the park is locked from 10:30pm-7am so you can not enter or exit during that time.
AT&T worked great for all of our internet needs including video meetings

One of my favorite spots. I stayed at site 36. Sites 32,33,34 & 35 Water view. Site 36 has private beach. Sites are shady, RV pads are small and some unleveled. Site 30-31 has nice views and water access. RV parking is higher than the picnic area. Sites 38-39 private beach access. Happy Camping!

The camp sites are located along small islands jutting out into Lake Lanier. Plenty of shade, picnic table, fire ring. The pad itself is elevated above the waters edge. The site had water and 30amp electric but no sewer. The views of the sunset were spectacular. Fairly private sites.
The campground had a nice shower house and coin laundry. All in all the campground was spotless. I would definitely come back and stay several days. I only wish their season was longer.

There was no flat space to step out on from our camper steps. The camp host was super helpful and found us another site (04). Most sites have a view of the lake and tree cover. This is a beautiful campground with friendly camp hosts. The activity on the lake can get loud during the day, but it’s peaceful at night. The only negative was the leaf blower noise at 8 am on our last day.

If you had a campground to spend some relaxing time at, this is the place. All utilities at half the sites for 22.00 and tent sites with no electric for 18.00. Tables, fire rings, grills and lantern poles and lots of privacy. Shopping 12 mikes with c-stores closer. What more can I say. Gate personnel were very polite and friendly. Will definitly be back.

Although we loved this campground and experience, we weren't too fond of our noisy neighbors. The campground was clean, but the soil is clay like and hard to be cleaned once we got home.
The staff was genuinely nice and welcoming. We will definitely come back and try to get one of the flagman sites right by the lake.

Great ATT and Verizon access. Some sites are more private than other and have better water access than others but I didn't see a site I hated when I took a walk through the park.
Pretty quiet except people in boats on the lake.
My site was pretty much shaded the whole time I was there. Site 33 was pretty sunny next door. Great sunsets can be watched on a small peninsula between the two.
The dry sites looked amazing too!
Highly recommend this spot.
