Sites 124 through 175 have great lake views and are well shaded, but they are gravel sites. There is a cart that comes around between 5pm and 9pm to sell drinks at your campsite (like an adult ice cream truck!)
The showers were great, and the WiFi was good. There is only one laundry room for the entire campground, and it only has three washers and four dryers. We experienced people leaving laundry in machines multiple times when we tried to use them. That was the one negative aspect of the stay.

This campground has some continuing construction. That being said it is a great place to camp. The sites are concrete, level, with full hook ups. There are street lights so it's easy to walk in the park after dark. Tickets to the snow island came with our camp site. Check out their website for all the details.

We have stayed here twice now. The first time was in April 2023 for a work trip in this area. The second time was in July 2023 for an actual vacation. When you think Margaritaville your think drunk partying right? No its not at all like that. Its family oriented. They have security that constantly drives around and keeps the piece if any should get out of hand. Both times we went we did not see any rowdy activity everyone was respectful. There is a drink golf cart that’s like a ice cream truck that drives around playing jimmy buffet music - but again I saw nothing but responsible drinking, it was kind of funny to me.
My Pros:
1. Water park!
2. Golf Cart rentals! The best way to get around, this place is large and walking is not a good idea nor driving your car back and forth. You can drive it to all places just cant go past the bridge or drive on the golf course unless you pay for it. The water park - you can park very close where its reserved for carts! Carts have a gps navigation so you can see where you are and it uses that to shut the cart down if you go where your not suppose to. It alerts you and gives warning.
3. Game Changer Arcade
4. Our site 70 was spacious and had privacy.
5. Site was peaceful and very quiet. The occasional golf cart music but nothing annoying.
6. Fast internet with their wifi!
My Cons:
1. Site 70 is Next to the dumpster and Friday at 9:00am the garbage truck empties and its loud. We stayed wed - Sunday and it only ran Friday. But easy to take the trash out!
2. Golf cart noise loud late until about 11. ( loud music and lot of traffic) which its not that bad if you run your air conditioners on high it white noises them out. Hardly heard them running ac’s but its there.
3. Even though we get two autos to park one of ours still had to pay $20.00 to enter because they came after and only had a photo of the pass. Gate did not honor that. So i suggest meet them outside of gate and give them the actual pass. Was told by camp staff this was a mistake.
So the campground, water park, arcade, front gate all are ran by sub companies all fall under JimmyBuffet but are all separate investment companies, just an interesting fact.

We had plenty of room to set up on the concrete patio. Our area was not busy at all during the week but did pick up on the weekend. We went to the Landshark Grill which was quite the hike from the parking lot and enjoyed a bite and a beer. It was right next to the beach area. The golf course looked very nice, but we did not get a chance to check it out. The grocery store was not too far away.

Some will like and all the activity it offers but it is not the reason I go camping.

Your stay comes with fun perks like a drink cart that makes its rounds through the campground each evening, the possibility of food delivered to your campsite and discount passes to the beach and water park. This is also a whole giant complex with multiple restaurants, boat rentals, golf and more inside.
The spots are nice with two loops having concrete pads and manicured grass and another loop that has much more trees and shade and nature feel with gravel pads. The more nature loop has some of the best lake front spots in our opinion but almost every spot has lake views.
We did have an issue where the water went out on half the campground during our stay. We used one of the campground showers and it was underwhelming at best. The campground did call and email to update us about the water issue throughout the process but no refund or offer to move to a loop where it did work was ever given.
This place is more expensive than we usually pay and while it was nice and would probably be fun for a true vacation getaway, we would choose some of the nearby COE campgrounds over it.
We struggled with AT&T service throughout the park, some places it worked better than others. We mostly relied on the park internet which during the week (during the school year) worked fine with the park being more than half empty but was pretty bogged down on the weekend when the park was full.

We were in pull through site 102 and it fit our 45’ fifth wheel with dually truck, bikes and golf cart spaciously. Bathhouse was very clean. Wifi was good to stream, good water pressure and no issues with electric or sewer. The water park Is great for families and so is the beach area (the water park is extra charge but beach pass included in camp stay). Those areas can be better maintained and cleaner, but there was Ana event so there were many people there. Saw several deer everyday and the golf course is too notch. Beautiful fireworks display on Saturday! Take or rent a golf cart because Margaritaville is huge!

I can’t talk about the water park as it is out of season and wasn’t open.
The cable at our site didn’t seem to work and the WiFi is pretty bad. At times it would work but more often than not, it was a lot of buffering. Thank goodness for hotspots.
