Am in a Ford Van and began observing rats in the afternoon. Raised the hood and set up a motion detector that turns on bright light at night when motion is sensed under the hood. The light came on every ten minutes and could see them scurry away....

Pretty views and quiet when camped up the hill. Be advised that crossing over the cattle guard on the way in is impossible if you don’t have a lot of ground clearance. I can’t imagine a class A being able to do it or the vast majority of class C....

OK place to overnight, but beware there’s a lot of loose sand. Step off any roads before driving to ensure you don’t get stuck.

I like this place a lot. Very comfortable and the visitors are generally friendly. Not much trash given how much it’s used either. Be advised though as the burros will serenade you at night. I’ll be back.
