Big lot behind the hotel, free rv parking, there are bathrooms and historical stuff inside the hotel as well as a casino and a Dennys. Super nice people, safe place to park

Rest area, surrounded by public blm land, the lot adjacent to the rest area is blm land, and just about all the way up the highway to outside Ely on both sides is blm. Great place for a night or two, or two weeks road noise and semi noise.

Water is encroaching the road in to the campground, with the snow melting id give it another month or so before camping here to avoid getting flooded in. 8 miles of dirt road, last 5 have massive rocks so can’t go faster than 5-10 mph.

Dispersed camping, there’s no sign that makes it clear when it stops or starts, so we just followed someone else’s tracks who camped here. Cell service is okay, orange cliff sides, and lots of sand so we careful if you stay during a storm or... Read more

Beautiful scenery, elk come down to the lake at night. It’s just an open field, if you want an actual campsite there’s paid ones down the road.
