Not very crowded and lots of open space. Lots of forest road to ride your bike or go for a walk. In the summer everything is very dry and dusty but overall a nice place. Only a 15 minute drive from Flagstaff.

Pretty steep entrance to get here. Arrived on a Saturday night and only one area wasn't already taken. You are camping below the highway so that noise competes with the flowing creek. No Sprint or T-Mobile. Verizon minimal.

Internet service here is limited. Wasn't able to get any Sprint or T-Mobile signal. Verizon was ok. There is no water so plan accordingly. There are some trails at both ends of the campground but didn't use them.

With over 120 sites, this campground is larger than most COE sites I've been too. The weekend I was here it was completely booked. The weekdays were a little quieter. There is a laundry room here with 2 washers and 2 dryers which was nice. Each...

Lots of tall mature trees for shade. We arrived after major rains and flooding so not sure if the area always has this many mosquitos. Never did see any alligator but did see a turtle, snake, raccoon, owls and other birds. If you hear something...
