“Good location for hiking in Lost Creek Wilderness”

Overall Rating

I stayed at Twin Eagles because of its proximity to the Ute Creek Trailhead, which provides access to Bison Peak in the Lost Creek Wilderness. Sites 1 and 2 are "upper" and I grabbed Site 2. No one ever took Site 1 (on June 11, a Thursday) so I had the "upper" area all to myself. The road (CR 77) was close by but it is lightly traveled and I was hardly aware of traffic noise. The campground is small and just fine for those who don't need anything fancy.
