“Thumb Butte road is in the worst shape I've ever seen!”

As soon as the pavement ends it's non-stop deep potholes, rain, ruts, and exposed rock and boulders. I've never seen this road this rough. I pulled my 19-ft travel trailer at less than 5 mph the whole way. Often at idle crawl speed.

It’s right next to the road, so it gets very dusty. Best spot on the road with views of the snowy peaks in flagstaff.

Mid-January weekend with about 6” of snow on the ground. Night temps 17deg, daily in the high 30’s low 40’s. Light dusting of 2” over night. Nice and quiet most of the day, average of 5 cars pass through the day. 2 bars of 5G service from T-Mobile at camp spot #7.

Site 7 is large enough for a medium sized 5th wheel without too much effort leveling. The site is back and full sun.
The site had 2 bars of Verizon with 3 megabit download and 20.7 megabit upload.

It was gorgeous weather, and a nice breeze across the valley. While there is a burn ban, we didn't really need a fire, or to even use our generator. Daytime was warm but not hot, and the evenings were cool enough to need a light blanket to sleep with.
I will definitely return. This is about 20 minutes away from downtown Prescott. Easy for a quick getaway to the mountains!
