“Great Park!”
Reviewed 6/23/2024
Stayed for two months. Loved the park and the staff are great. Plenty of room for our 43ft motor home. Was concerned about noise being right off of I-65 but there is a large field and row of trees and didn’t bother us. Will definitely be back!!

“A Really Nice Small Park”

The only downside was it’s right off I-65. However, it wasn’t very noisy! It’s super easy to get to off the Interstate. The sites were very level. Hook ups were well laid out. Most, if not all sites were pull throughs. The park was well kept and the sites had a little room between them.

Large sites. Very friendly staff. Easy access from I-65. That being said, it’s very close to the interstate. Our site was closest to it. I’m sure it’s much quieter at the back of the park. Very well maintained. Not much around for amenities outside the park. Lots of shade trees. Would definitely stay again.

“It Is A Noisy Campground, But Excellent ”

I hate to complain but it is noisy. But it keeps you from driving an hour off the interstate when you are headed somewhere! It’s an excellent place otherwise.
There are lots of lights thru out the campground, which is good. We have curtains so we’re fine.
We would stay again.

You can make a reservation either online or by calling. We called ahead, and they let us know they had several sites available. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It had been raining so there were some muddy areas on the drive to our site. The roads are fairly navigable but narrow. There are some trees that are mostly tall and, they are trimmed to allow easy access. Our pull thru gravel/dirt site had some standing water and the aforementioned muddy spots. It was fairly level but narrow. The site was plenty long enough for the MH and toad. The sites are close together, and there is no privacy. All the utilities worked fine. The only odd thing is the placement of the 50-amp plug, and there is no on/off switch, so it is a hot connection. There is a fair number of long-term renters, but they appear pretty neat and clean. There is definite noise from I-65 as the park is right by it, literally. It is especially loud when the tractor trailers veer off the highway into the noise makers or use their jake brakes. There are also trains off in the distance. Wi-Fi was too slow for us to use. T-Mobile was 5g 4 bars and Verizon was 4g 2 bars. They have cable but we didn’t try it. This is a convenient park, but the sites are very basic and not worth $50. Plus, it’s so noisy!

The biggest complaint we have from our stay is the golf cart police. Assuming it’s the work for hire folks who live onsite permanently. They watched our every move from the time we pulled in & set up to hooking up and leaving. Got “spoken to” about leaving our truck parked too far out into the road while trying to get the trailer hooked up. Didn’t appreciate the eagle eyes while trying to get hooked up to leave. WiFi didn’t work for us, but our Verizon hotspots did.

We stayed here for a few nights and found this place to be clean, well kept and overall nice. Sites are I believe all pull through with 30 and 50 amp service and are full service. Right off the highway, easy in and easy out. Honestly can’t remember the exact price of the site but it was about $30 per night.

Is now under new management and they’re completely rude. Reserved in the middle of the month for monthly rate and got told I was paying the monthly rate, the next month I went to pay middle of month same day we arrived. They had called me at the first of that month and asked if we’d be staying longer and I said yes add another month. She said okay she’ll put it in the system. So when I went to pay they had no information that we was extending but luckily they had another site open to move us to, but I informed the owner I had spoke to a lady on the phone and she said she’d put it in the system. Charged me a cheaper rate and went on. We’ll apparently my card is on auto pay, we’ll the next month on the 1st they charged it again. I went to the office and informed them that we wasn’t staying that month that I had already paid for the 2 months we was staying and then they decided to tell me since I showed up in the middle of the month I got charged a weekly rate instead of a monthly rate so they can’t fix it that they done charged the card. I asked the monthly rate and asked if they could just do two months stay and refund whatever is left over and she said they can’t cause I showed up in the middle of the month. So it’s not fair that they stole $2-300 from us and didn’t even bother to tell us we was being charged a weekly rate instead of monthly only because we showed up in the middle of the month instead of the first. My thoughts is they should charge monthly from whatever day you arrive. But I guess that’s how they get peoples money. We won’t be back.
To top it off site #24 and any surrounding sites flood during rain and you’ll be walking in ankle deep water for days. I kindly asked about having some gravel put down but they didn’t do it till a week after we moved sites.
