THE GOOD
Friendly staff.
Location: Very peaceful outside of Palouse Falls (10 minutes from the KOA). Right at the marina so you can take a boat out or kayak from the dock.
Location: There is a beautiful state park just over the bridge less than 5 minutes from the KOA.
Office: Restaurant food available, and lots of convenience items available at the office.
Sites: Well-maintained back-in sites with grass living spaces. However, see leveling issues in next section.
Wifi: Campground WiFi was operational at times for very light computer work. It was our saving grace for work because our Verizon and AT&T hotspots were essentially useless most of the time, with moments of connection.
THE BAD
Cell service: Don't count on getting much/any service. You can make a call from the right area at the top of the campground, but it is tricky.
Facilities: Showers are a bit dirty at this KOA. Not terrible. Just less clean than most of the KOAs.
Sites: They are paved but sloped downward quite a bit and not level side to side either. Most of the back-ins need to be boosted pretty high in the from once parked.
WORTH NOTING (not good or bad thing)
Gas: Be sure to fill up. Depending on the direction you are coming from, might not see a gas station for a bit. It's not the desert, but still be aware to not get too close to E.
Navigating the campground. The office is essentially the Marina office. Coming from the road, you can do one of 3 things:
-1st right into the opt section of the sites and cabins,
-2nd right into the spots that are solely back-in RV sites,
-and 3rd you can go straight to the Marina office.
After you check-in, you will need to U-turn and go back up to your site. Turning left into the roads with sites can be a sharp turn.

The only campground near Palouse Falls. It's right on the river. Has a small convenience store and cafe. Clean restrooms, nice level and paved spots with your own picnic table. If anything it is a bit expensive, but it's slim picking when in this part of the state.
