We stayed 3 nights, tooled around on our 🚴 bikes and enjoyed the serenity. Weather was warm n humid but we were here in August and were fine outside all morning and evening. Flies would come n go when there wasn’t a breeze and controlled with a bit of bug spray. Locals were soooo very nice and helpful. We’d definitely come back when we’re in the area. Felt safe the entire time. Oh yeah also a dump on site, shower was very clean and maintained

There are a couple simple gravel spots with hook ups but it appears that you can camp anywhere in the grass area too. We just wanted a simple overnight and didn’t use the hook ups, rest rooms or dump. We did toss our garbage in their dumpster. There was only one other vehicle there and it was soooo quiet! Perfect and way better than staying overnight at a Walmart or truck stop! We’d definitely stay there again!

To start, we did not stay here but we wished we had. We got in late on a Saturday night driving up from Oklahoma and found 6 hookup sites (water/electric). These are coupled so water is shared from three common hookups with separate electric. We found one had a tent on it with a car on the other side. One had a class C on it with a picnic bench moved over the other side (to dissuade others from camping there I guess?), and the third had a travel trailer hooked up but nobody home and we didn't want to disconnect their water to add a shared connection without asking first.
All that to say, we had to move on. But man, this park is beautiful and there are bathrooms with showers and lots of play equipment for the kiddos. We ended up moving a few blocks south to the end of E street to the Milliron Campground. I've sent a request to add that campground to Campendium so it can be reviewed as well.
