It was quieter after 11pm when the locals stopped driving through at a high rate of speed with stereos thumping.
There was a carnival in the park when we were there. There is a petting zoo/animal sanctuary that is permanent adjoining the campground.
A few homeless hung around at times but didn’t bother us.

“Clean,Quiet. Small Spaces. ”
Reviewed 10/14/2023
We found the park clean and quiet right next to the river. Dry camping and small spaces but we found a space for our 32’ fifth wheel. Stayed here in 2021 with a similar experience. No safety issues.

Came in at 8:00pm on a Saturday night. Homeless people who appeared drunk or on drugs were hanging around. Vehicles kept driving thru the camping area. No one was actually camping there. Did not seem like a good place so we left.

It’s a very pretty park with lots to do. Spent 1 night, 6/11/23. Lots of cars going by/through the camping area at night so it was noisy. Chiggers in the grass, and when I mentioned it to a worker in the morning, he said they need to spray again. It was OK for an overnight but next time I’ll stay somewhere else.

I arrived into town at the local Walmart, which is kind of crowded and noisy. I’m glad I checked what Campendium had listed because this is a nice little campground loop. Had no problem sleeping since the weather was cool in late May. When I left, I opened the doors to the van and hundreds of moths were perched inside! Besides that, I would have gladly stayed another few nights. Easy pay at the tiny building you see when you drive in.

Plenty to do here for one night. We had a nice walk around the small lake. It’s fenced with a lot of animals roaming around. Elk, Dear, and 3 Buffalo.
No power at any site but the park next to the RV area makes it worth an overnight for $10.

Paved/gravel sites. Ours was very level #37. Water and dump station outside the restrooms. Cars did drive through later, like around 11pm, and there was some traffic noise from the highway, but overall not too bad. There were 3 campers the night we stayed. Can’t beat it for $10!!

This is a City facility that is well taken care of. The pads are paved and level. This provides a great spot for becoming a base location for local site seeing. The area was very quiet at night. There was some noise from the nearby thoroughfare but really not bad.

The kid park and carousel were not open when we walked around. Would have liked to stay another day and go to the Golden Spike Tower.
