Very, very close together, I couldn't even get out of my driver side door. It's too bad because it's a nice park and the views are great but again. We could see and hear what our neighbors had for dinner. We won't be back. You get water and electric for $35.00 they do have showers, no cell or wifi.

Great campground tucked right pass the hustle and bustle in St. George. There are 2 entrances to the park, you want to take the one to the right per your navigation, the other entrance outs you far out from the actual campground entrance. Check-in was very easy and campground hosts were very present. Sites 1-14 are a tight squeeze and on top of each other. Try to book in the outer loop. Sites 15A, 17 & 18 are great spots with nice tent pads. I was in Spot 15B and I don't recommend it. It's basically an extension of 15A and luckily we had a small 13' travel trailer and even then it was a tight squeeze. We parked in as if it were basic parking lot spot. If you had anything bigger, you would basically be nose to nose with 15A. The tent pad was the only nice thing about my spot. The location of the campground is great as you are within walking distance to multiple hikes. The bathrooms were always clean and the shower were over on the other side of the campgrounds. On the side of the showers, there are some nice secluded spots (Sites 20+). Most are first come, first serve but no hook-ups. Will definitely be back only if we could book a different spot.

We typically boondock, but all they had were 2 sites available with hookups so we took the opportunity to charge our devices and have some luxuries. The hookup area is basically what you would see at an RV park, very tight and cramped spots... also not level, for seemingly new designed area. The first space was so cramped bc a fifth wheel with slide outs was next to us that I felt like our door would hit there rig, so they let us switch to another site with another class b sharing the space. It was a bit better, but would not return for feeling like you are sleeping in a parking lot, rather stay at Leeds canyon on BLM land.

The scenery here is outstanding, much like most Utah State Parks. No cell service and no TV signal at this park. The park design has water and electric hook ups and off-grid sites. Electric hook up sites are all in a row near the park office building and restrooms, the showers are a good walk away from the main area on the north end of the boon-docking sites. I read the reviews and understood the electric sites were close together and slide outs couldn't always be used. Once we checked in and pulled into our site with our 20 foot travel trailer, we had a hard time getting it level and noticed once set up we couldn't open the door because the canopy of the picnic tables was too low. The spaces were ridiculously close together, each trailer had to pull in in opposite directions and it was unclear which picnic table belonged to which space. The simple no slide out trailer next to us was so close we could smell the exhaust of their water heater when it ran. Forget about a peaceful experience here because everybody is stacked together - you could hear conversations a couple of spaces away. The guy next to me had chained his surge protector to the electric pedestal making it difficult for me to keep my electric service plugged in. I asked the park people to have that corrected but it wasn't ever addressed. It appeared the camp host was taking two spaces with his extra large fifth wheel with slide outs. This park could be outstanding if the State Parks redesigned it to eliminate every other electric space, and run electric and water to all of the outlying spaces. Until this is done we won't return. It is the awkward design of this park that earns it only one star from us.

The site was a pull-through, but it was so narrow and the turns so tight that I could not pull my 21 ft trailer in from the left or the right. I had to back in from the front. I saw others having the same issue. The site sloped downhill, and it was so unlevel laterally that it required 4 leveling blocks. I parked as close to the hookup island as possible, but the site was so narrow that my steps were right up against the fence and vegetation, and I could only step off them to the side.
Verizon 4G was voice only. There was a data signal only in the middle of the night.

Friends had recommended this park to us and the reviews were all great, so we decided we needed to check it out. So glad we did. We came in on a Monday in late September without reservations, hoping we might get a spot. Luckily there were two or three non-hook-up, first come-first served, sites available. We chose site #24 for its pretty views, good exposure for our solar panel and close proximity to the restrooms/showers. Generator hours are noon to 4:00 PM. Each site has a fire pit, picnic table and tent pad. There are water spigots throughout the campground and a dump station.
There is a good variety of site types at this park. Sites #1 through #14 have water and electric (30 amp). These sites are long, but very narrow and the park warns you may not be able to put out slides or awnings in these sites. They do have nice little shade ramadas though and are close to the park office and restrooms (but not the showers). Sites 15A, 15B,17 and 18 have electric (30 amp). There are two group sites, Cottontail and Quail. When we were there, the park was letting individuals with camper vans and truck campers use these sites.
Snow Canyon itself is gorgeous and there are plenty of hiking and mountain biking opportunities. You can ride your bike all the way into St. George and back to the campground on a wide paved bike trial. St. George has all services and other outdoorsy things to do. We enjoyed our visit to Red Hills Desert Garden which is free and features a wide variety of desert plants and habitats.

The park itself is beautiful, with bike paths and canyon and slickrock hiking. There was some trail access from outside the entry/pay booths, and those trails were sometimes clogged with loud herds of nonpaying locals. On most of the other trails, we saw only one or two other people.
This is a very busy park. I strongly advise that you reserve a site several months in advance. We did not, and were lucky to get an overflow spot in the parking lot next to a group use area. The electricity did not work at that site, but were were ale to plug into the neighbor's outlet. Campground host/ranger said they had issues with electricity in other sites as well. The next morning, the host came over with the news that one of the nonreservible sites was being vacated, so we jumped at that. It was level and had shelter and water. Not very private though, as we were in a row of six RVs. In fact, I only saw a handful of single sites (no hookups?) and many of them were exposed and close to the adjacent sites; most camping appeared to be in group or closely-packed RV sites. In the next few days, a few people actually asked when we were leaving, and were waiting to get our spot as we prepared to depart.
It was quiet at night... but there was one group of early risers who woke us up a few mornings with their gabfests and radio playing while they watched the sunrise.
The restrooms and showers left much to be desired...restrooms near the ranger station (one pedestal sink and one toilet) were out of tp more often than not, and the single bathhouse only has two showers per sex, that require one to pull a chain for water, extremely awkward.
Overall, I'd recommend Snow Canyon for day use but not for overnight stays.

We stayed just one night on our cross-country. This particular site was nice because we were surrounded by mountains and the sun rose behind it. We had electric and water hookups. This particular site was right next to their dumpster and dump station but there was nobody else camping in this row so it didn't bother us. There were sites in the front that have a little shelter with a picnic table but ours was an open, nicely paved site in the back row, which was hard to find in the dark. No campfires allowed due to the risk of a forest fire. The bathrooms were very hot inside and a walk down the road. Not super clean...just okay. We didn't need the shower or even look at it so we can't comment. We really enjoyed this campground and would definitely stay again!

We pulled in on a rainy day after spending some time in the red Utah mud and welcomed the paved site with power. Initially, we thought it would be hot, so electricity was the goal for the holiday weekend.
We loved the park and didn't realize that our site would overlook one of the group campgrounds. While quiet during the rain, once the holiday campers rolled in we were overrun. Not the fault of the campground - it was opening day of camping season and to be expected.
Our site had 2 tent sites, picnic table, and a fire ring.
When we return, we will not book this site as it also was next to the dump station. No a problem with our cool weather, but as it heats up I imagine it might smell a bit. Lots of dry camping sites are beautiful. I am glad we heeded recommendations of others to avoid the full hookup sites - they are so cramped, most can't open their slides.
The surrounding trails are great and it is easy to hike right out of the campground. We also made it into town for several outings - groceries (Harmon's is amazing), movies, eating out.
One activity that we really enjoyed St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site at Johnson Farm - discovered in just 2000 by the landowner doing some excavation, it is really interesting.
We will be back, despite the crowds to enjoy more of this beautiful park.
