Site 18. Pull through and level that was close to new bathrooms and very nice showers but just past it so you didn't have people walking through your camp to use the facilities! Site 18. Pull through and level that was close to new bathrooms and very nice showers but just past it so you didn't have people walking through your camp to use the facilities! Very quite even with a main road close by. No trees. Electric and water on site with dump station available.
This is a new camp ground. Close to reservoir and the gunlock falls. We kayaked and fished. Got skunked but enjoyed the lake. Friendly hosts. Free range cattle everywhere but they generally were not problem.

This park has been redone with new electric and water hookups at all sites and brand new, beautiful bathroom and shower facilities. There is also a new dump station. Three bars of Verizon LTE. Aluminum picnic tables, fire rings, and pagodas at every site. Surface is gravel and sites can be unlevel. Open range land=cattle in campground.... more

Aluminum picnic tables, fire rings, and pagodas at every site. Surface is gravel and sites can be unlevel. Open range land=cattle in campground. Back in and pull through sites to accommodate big rigs.

This was a nice place to work from for a week. Especially if you have a paddle craft to take out on the lake daily.
Verizon had 3-4 bars and download speeds between 40-70mb/s.
The vortex hike just up the road was awesome!

Ranger very nice and Accommodating, we had several big rigs with us the sites were too small so they allowed us to camp in the boat dock area where there is plenty of space for many rigs that are oversized. Where were allowed to ride out UTV in and around the area through town to get to the trails.

Overall Rating
There are only 5 spots with no hookups at all. There is stacked wood by the fire ring however. Nice lake view but the price is too high for what you get. There are restrooms but we didn't use them due to 25 to 30 MPH winds all day and night.
