Arrived Early on a Friday. The Road In Is Fine. About 1/2 Mile In See Scattered Sites. About A Dozen. Some Require 4 Wheel Drive And Better Suited For Text. But We Found A Place For Our Trying Clean And 22 Ft Trailer. Quiet out of the way.

I arrived on a Tuesday and had to go about a half mile in to find a place to camp. The road was pretty rutted and I would not recommend for a car although my Honda element did just fine. The biggest issue being the ditches between the road and campsites.

We picked a spot far enough from the highway to not hear too much noise and pitched our tent, and only saw one other person the whole time. The spot we picked was spacious and had a stone fire pit, although there was lots of trash from someone who had stayed there the night before and we found plenty of broken glass too, so be cautious of that. The best part was 4G Verizon service! Overall I would recommend it.

The campsites are pretty spaced out which was way nice. We had a great time. We camped while the road was dry and it was still pretty rough. It would’ve been horrible if the road were wet so beware of conditions. Try to get a spot further back- they’re more dynamic/have more trees/ shade/ hills.

“Piles of horse manure and trash”

This is in a fine spot but the amount of glass, trash, piles of horse manure was so disgusting we couldn’t stay. It was late at night so we went to the site back towards the highway and it was okay. I noticed about 5 spots on the beginning of this road. 1 is in the field as you pull in has a fire ring, the rest are back about .5 miles on the right. All had rock rings and were tucked in some scrub areas with larger trees separating spots. Drive is rutted out from a wet day but was passable in my 4x4 van thought I didn’t have to use... more
