We have stayed here multiple times just for a weekend getaway. The sites are decent and are usually available for reservation. We had full bars with t- mobile. There is a small lake to go fishing. It's close to Veyo and about 20 minutes to St George. Note that there is no water on site so make sure you bring your own.

Small quiet CG in juniper forest. Road and campsites are gravel. Sites are nicely spaced with trees between, not crammed together. Each site has picnic table and fire ring. No water. 2 pit toilets at the entrance. When I was there (Jan 2024) the toilets were clean and had lots of TP. There is no water. Site size varies from single vehicle size to 4 vehicle size. Most sites have some amount of slope so you may need to level your rig. Only one other site was occupied when I was there; don't know how busy it gets in the regular season. Reservations required through Recreation.gov, but I think it's possible to drive through, identify an unreserved site, and then log in to the website and make a reservation. Baker reservoir is maybe 1/4 to 1/2 mile away and there are some short nature trails. It's pretty convenient to Snow Canyon and St George, while at the same time giving you a break from noise and crowds. I had 1 bar on Verizon.

We did reserve a site ahead of time. There was no host but the toilet were clean and nice. We picked site 13. Pull through and the view was the best!! Pay attention to the length of equipment when you reserve. Some of the sites would have been a tight fit for us. We would definitely stay there again

Gorgeous area and great sites. I wish I had discovered this sooner. I have been camping at Snow Canyon and the sites are pretty on top of each other and there is a lot of traffic and this is only 15-20 minutes from snow canyon. Sites are well spread out and there’s gorgeous views. Super peaceful on a Sunday eve in Feb

Very nice, well maintained campground. Nice that it was open in winter. Just a bit of snow on the ground when we were here in December. Sites are quiet and spread out. Most are fairly level. Don’t know if the restroom was open because we are self-contained. Close to Mountain Meadows Massacre site.

Only sites open for 1 night then move even day would have been there 3 nights
There would be a few sites for us. $ 12 per night, but with Senior pass $6 per night

Easy to pitch a tent and quiet even though campsites are pretty close together. Overall nothing too amazing- just a basic campsite but if you are looking for an easy campsite on the way to/leaving Zion or Bryce area (which can be hard) this isn’t a bad one.
