We went all the way to the end of the service road where there is a small turnaround loop/dead end. There is a site to the right and to the left. we took the site to the right. It was great, no neighbors, a lot of shade, minimal bugs. Tmobile and verizon both worked great. We were able to stream, video conference, game online, etc.
One of our favorite spots we have found!

This place is BEAUTIFUL. It is our first time coming here, and we drove from Lehi Utah with hopes that there would be an available site that could fit our 45-foot toy hauler. There were several that would have been great. We ended up with this one that was perfect.
So far, the only real negative is the ear wigs.
Garboochie would stay here again

Nice level sites, most wooded and with good spacing between them. Easy access off of Red Rock Road. It appears there are quite a few rigs that have been there a while, assuming left there by locals and possibly ignoring the 14 day limit as we didn't see anyone at those sites while we were there (Most of those were further back the road). The spots up front seemed to rotate on a regular basis (We stayed 12 nights).
Cell service was excellent (Verizon 3 bars). No problem streaming.
There were some bugs, however, mosquitoes weren't bad until later in the evening and overall, not terrible. FYI - there are these insects that we had never seen before called Bee-Flies. They look like flies and the bigger ones have a fuzzy body like a bee (They also hover and move like bees). DON'T KILL THEM!!! They don't sting or bite AND we found out they pollinate flowers like a regular bee!
Most spots were shady and all day solar may be an issue if you need it. We were on a site that had good access to sun for 75% of the day.
Noise wasn't too bad, however, this is a "recreation" area and there were quite a lot of people driving by on the access road with 4 wheelers, side by sides, etc... Also, the sites up front are closer to the road, so, there was some noise from that as well.
This is part of the Targhee National Forest - Forest Road 051.
This site sits in Island Park Idaho which is an amazing place with a lot to see. Be sure to check out the Big Springs that are a water source for the Snake River, the Upper and Lower Mesa Falls - Also part of the Snake River, Henry's Lake and our favorite trail the Coffee Pot Rapids trail that can be accessed at the Coffee Pot Forest Campground (it's a 2 mile hike along the Snake River to get to the rapids with beautiful travertine water - (4 miles out and back)).
