We stay in the first spot, under the trees, and with a fire pit, perfect for our rig; a class A 38’ road was good too.
Nobody near us could see some rigs far away, no sound from the road or others.
We loved it so much that we are planning to go back again next week.

As you go further into the forest, the roads become pretty rutted, almost impassible for larger rigs. Cell is strong (Verizon). There is a Philipps 66 nearby with free water and air.
This is bear country, so don't leave food out. We didn't experience any problems, but were warned off a grizzly at a nearby site.
Lots of ATVs in the area.
One spot we stayed at was kind of long and narrow, but was plenty big for one rig and had nice views of the mountains. A downside was it had some highway noise. Coordinates 44°34'46.4"N 111°20'31.2"W.
Another spot we stayed at was much larger - probably big enough for 3-4 rigs. More forested and no view, but less highway noise. 44°34'45.6"N 111°20'33.6"W. The two spots I mentioned are really close to one another. Both have their pros and cons, but are both decent spots!

I stayed in the first spot you come to on the left on 8/24/20-8/27/20 and was in full shade and had great verizon cell service 19.8mbps download and 4.24mbps upload, att cell service 9.47mbps download and .23 upload. Only downside is very close to the state highway so it was loud all night but I'm so used to it that it doesn't bother me.

There are A LOT of places to park here. My preference was to stay out of the secluded woods for solar and better reception, but you can get most sized rigs through the numerous off shoot roads. Privacy is pretty great but expect ATV traffic and a lot of generator usage in the area if you park near folks not equipped with solar.
Verizon was decent but for you remote workers:
I use a roof mounted poynting mimo shark fin, pepwave BR1 router. Speed average: 30 up and down. After 8pm local time the tower would crawl to 3mbps or less until about 10pm. Latency was a bit high, expect this tower to making quite a few bounces before it hits an actual data hard line so expect some zoom calls to get a bit choppy but usable.

Big enough for all sizes RVs or tents. Just be careful of the bumps and ditches. None of the sites are numbered, just find a spot and hunker down. Probably will have some neighbors, we had 2 in the same “pulled out spot”, but didn’t feel crowded.

We stayed her for 7 days and used it for our base camp to go to Yellowstone and loved every minute of it. People who camp here were respectful and friendly and a joy to be around. The roads cab be pretty rutted so depending on your rig I would unhook and drive around.

This is a great place to stay if you don’t need hookups. Right off the highway, easy access to a bunch of the sites, all well spread out, surrounded by trees, and easy to fit about any size trailer. Deeper in (if you take the road that loops - a couple of them just dead end), there are even more secluded sites but it was a struggle to get our 30-foot trailer in due to overhead trees and big ruts. If it had been wet, we would have been stuck. Still, the site we ended up in was wonderful. It backed to the woods, giving us room to roam. We’re happy campers here. 👍🏼

This was such a great spot - heavily wooded, felt quiet and secluded and easy access to the highway on the road to Yellowstone. This is a dispersed camping area with spots for all rigs and sizes. Woods could be a little low at times so I wouldn't go too far up the dirt roads if you have a tall rig.

We didn’t try moving back into the trees for more privacy as the dirt, pothole filled roads looked rough for our 40’ pusher. There are 2 large parking areas immediately off the road that were perfectly suited with multiple rv’s and trailers already parked. Not someplace I’d like to spend any length of time, but perfect for a quick night.
