Super close to access the Red Rock Canyon trails and scenic drive - a big plus. Be careful, no signage for the campground, turn at the sign noting BLM Fire Department.
Also close to Las Vegas if that is of interest to people.
The restrooms were cleaned at least once a day by the super friendly camp hosts.
There were areas to fill water containers if needed.
No dump area.
Not all the sites are level and approximately 20 feet from your neighbors. It was super quiet when we were here (in Feb 2022).
No Verizon or AT&T but did get a few channels over the air for TV.
Town services was only 3 miles away (gasoline, market, restaurants).
We would come back here since the environment and views are wonderful!

I had zero Verizon service.
Signage from the highway is difficult to see, just turn in towards the BLM fire station.
The portable water may be drinkable but it is definitely the worst water I've ever tasted.

Good spot to camp for hiking Red Rocks. Some other campers were a bit noisy. I’m not a big fan of the tent pads as they’re always rock hard, but there were plenty of rocks around to stake out my tent. Nice scenery.

This is a nice campground about a mile away from red rock Canyon. We camped here in a 24’ travel trailer with our truck. They have some portable water available but a 5 gallon max per camper so we had to go back into Vegas at a place called oasis RV to find water to put into our travel trailer. So it is helpful if you feel up in town before you drive out to the campground. They did not have any hook ups or a dump. We used a station on Highway 15 to Dump after we left. Our site had a picnic table, fire ring and a sandy area for folks with tents. We had no shade but some of the sites have wood shade covers. The roads were easy to navigate with our rig. I am glad we were in one of the regular camp areas and not over in the RV section which didn’t look as nice. Neighbors are not right next to you but still we could hear them. We enjoyed the views at sunset and sunrise. The camp post was very nice. They have some gnarly speed bumps coming down the road to get there. We charged into red rock Canyon before 8 AM each morning as we did not have a reserved pass which is needed from 8 AM to 5 PM each day. This got us into the canyon when it was still cool and the crowds had not arrived which was a win-win situation. we would definitely come back and stay here again.

We were on the outer loop #18 with 360 views of hills. Plenty of space between sites here and hills for short hikes. Everything was clean, relaxed and friendly. A perfect base camp for us. So glad we booked the scenic tour of Red Rock Canyon as well.

Good overall experience. Hosts were courteous and helpful...hassle-less. We parked in spot RV4 (in 30' Class A) within the RV Loop which is essentially a cul-de-sac. No shades at these sites.
Pros: more privacy & not flooded with tent campers and reasonably priced. Also, OTA signal is strong.
Cons: spots far from level on gravel. Beware using auto-leveling jacks & revert to ramps/blocks lest you slip/snap a jack - yeah, it's that unlevel. Also, cell service non-existent without a booster (WeBoost - TMobile worked for voice, intermittent for data). There are no fixed shade coverings similar to the main campground for the RV loop; no dump station nearby (so arrive empty); and what is really lacking is a potable water fill station which is a doable upgrade unlike the septic & electricals.
Scenery is lacking (barren) and consider this a base camp for exploring the more scenic areas of Red Rock. Enjoy...

We were in site 15 with our 27ft Airstream and it would have been a stretch to fit anything longer in the site. I would recommend one of the other back-in sites instead if you have a trailer.

The majority of the sites were occupied by rock climbers and hikers. The sites are gravel and ours (Site 16) was not level and we had to use three 2x10’s to lift the front. Our 35’ motorhome just fit with limited room for our car. Also at the campsite was a tent pad, picnic table, fire pit (with benches), and a casita. Technology: no cell service for AT&T, no WiFi, buts lots of OTA TV channels (a bonus). Unfortunately, there wasn’t a dump station at this campground, but there were water spigots sprinkled about to fill up your water bottles. The restrooms were pit toilets and there was one right outside our site. They were very well maintained and did not smell. They had a large dumpster on site, but no recycling bins. We stayed here for six days and we enjoyed being able to hike in Red Rock Canyon, visit The Strip (just 30 minutes away), and was only 3 miles to all kinds of shopping/restaurants in Summerlin.
