Overall Rating

This park is on Proctor Lake and This place is all about...fishing. Boating is great, swimming too. BUT, this is an older park and really needs restrooms and facilities updated. It was very quiet and I enjoyed that, no hiking trails but great roads to walk. BEWARE, there are stickers, oh, lots of stickers. If you step off your mat, barefoot you'll regret it, your dog will regret it. I was there it was too chilly to swim, but the water did look great with lots of access.
The Town of Comanche is nearby, about 30 minutes. Stores, etc, and very historical.
