To be completely covered, I would suggest calling the county. I'm sure someone there should be able to tell you 1) if reservations are taken; and 2) if they are what the process is.

At the park, there is a reservation kiosk in front of the restrooms.

If I remember right, you just pick a spot and drop the money in a drop box. During the weekdays, shouldn't be hard to find a spot. I bet weekends, it's filled.

I’m pretty sure it’s all first come first serve, there’s hardly anyone ever there.. we have stayed 4 times and have only seen a few campers there.. loved it..
