I didn’t spend the night here due to the availability of other more remote spots nearby on Indian Ranch Rd but I did use this as a convenient spot to leave my trailer for the day. Trona Wildrose Road may not be that busy but I prefer sleeping somewhere not directly on a high speed paved road.

This spot is very convenient to the road up Wildrose Canyon to the Charcoal Kilns, Mahogany Flat, Aguereberry Point and other locations in the Panamint Range which is length restricted (25’). I used it as a spot to leave my trailer while heading over to Lone Pine for the day so I didn’t have to haul up and down the steep twisties west of Panamint Springs.

The lot is perfectly flat, absolutely enormous, and can fit any rig with ease. It’s on BLM land so no worries about NPS rules.
