“Calm, relaxing spot”

We stayed here when most sites upriver were still closed by snow. It would be difficult for a big rig (though there were several there), but perfect for our truck camper. Site 10 is especially nice, right by the river, isolated, and quiet. Recommended.

I have MintMobile cell and it worked up there.

Stayed in spot 1 for one night. We would have loved to give it 5 starts but the few spots with electric are back-in with the water and electric hookup on the PASSENGER SIDE not driver’s side. We had an extra long cord and it BARELY reached.

There is a park area for kids on the other side. You are below a major highway but if you park next to the stream that is all you hear. Great little spot. This would be IDEAL for traveling with kids since there is the stream, a bathroom, and a park right there.

The downsides are that the spaces are tiny, the highway is right next to it (depending on site this wouldn’t be an issue), our 26 foot airstream and short box full cab Ford could BARELY make it around the loop without hitting a tree.
Only sites worth it are 1 (next to host but easy access and right against river) or site 10 (harder access but most privacy of all sites). We stayed at 17. It’s the largest site but butts up against a public paved trail that is used all night and had significant highway noise. All sites are water only. Great and kind host.

You can hear cars from the highway, but a spot next to the river helps drown that out. Sites all had tables, fire pits, and a place to grill. Restrooms were vault toilets. Some spots did not have a good space to park in, but they do have an overflow area close to the restrooms you could park at. Also has a playground by the campground. Sites are only available on a first come, first serve basis. We were there Monday-Tuesday and shared the campground with only 4 other families. Campsites have a max of 8 campers.

Outside of Provo, Utah. Nice, small campground. Friendly Host, Joseph. Had a site #10 next to fast flowing river. Vault toilets, no showers. Some Highway noise can be heard But all I heard was rushing water. Most sites are $20, the site next to playground was $30. Not sure what length RVs can fit.
