We pulled in and then walked the area to find a spot as some of the trees hang low, so you have to be spot on when pulling thru the area. We had no trouble identifying a few spots for our 19ft trailer and truck. The place does get packed at night and especially on the weekend with people pulling in anywhere and having fun all night. There are no toilets or water, except the creek. It can be messy in some areas from people leaving trash behind.

Other campers were surprisingly quiet but there is some road noise here. Tons of ants all over but we didn’t experience any other bug issues.

This place is awesome and close to Zion Natl Park’s south entrance. The gps coordinates will take you to the entrance, but that one is rutted and has a couple big holes that you wouldn’t want to take on in a vehicle without decent clearance. But about 30-40ft (one telephone pole further) there is a 2nd entrance that is much better and the Toyota Corolla camped next to us made it in all 3 nights. There is no water, toilet or garbage, but there is a shallow creek and some shade which was awesome. The roads in are bumpy, but if you go slow you are fine. If arriving in the dark I would be careful with a bigger rig or low vehicle. There are great spots for vans, tents or small RVs along the creek if you go to the left once in & a bunch of spots good for big rigs, again just scout ahead because turning around could be an issue if the place is really busy.

Really nice campground just 25mn Driving from the Visitor Center. Sites have shade and they are flat. A small river runs through the campground, which is convenient. I bathed everyday, it was super nice after a trekking day! There is beautiful view on the mountain, especially on sunset. There are biting flies and mosquitos, but if you use repellent, it's ok! Apparently, young people used to come during week-end to party. It was a little bit noisy, but I did the same when I was young…

It was windy at times, causing sand to find it’s way into every crevice of our bodies and our truck.
Got bit by horrible gray flies while going to and coming from the creek. They seem to hover low, close to the sand and like to bite legs. They bite hard! I’m guessing they’re some sort of sand fly, related to yellow jackets or wasps.

We have spent one night in this place, access was easy even if we have just a normal campervan car. The river is nice, people were numerous but quiet. Closed to Zion, some rings fire, all was ok! Just be careful of mosquitos, we had repulsive smoke product efficient!

We were here one night in our van camper. Worked out perfectly for us but would be too tight for larger RVs. Dry camping. Nice creek and cliffs in the background. Would stay here again.

Heaps of spots to camp in our minivan and there are fire rings (which saves our propane for cooking dinner) and even a portaloo (which my mrs always appreciates). Closes free spot to Zion, only 15-20 min drive. The creek was running so we could wash ourselves after some hiking in the park. One thing we had to be weary of was where we could camp, we had to stay closer to the road where there is gravel, the further you go away from the road the sandier it gets which is probably safer to drive on with 4wd which we dont have.
