This summer we have been on the road 100 days and have been in 40 different campgrounds. This one is one of the most expensive and in our opinion one of the worst. A lot of money was spent here on ornamental things, fountains, statues, etc. but they saved money by backing campsites to one another. This is the only campground we've been in where we felt we had to close all our blinds at night; yes, the sites are wide, but you still feel like you are on top of your neighbors. No matter how bad all the other campgrounds were, we at least had a view of some kind of nature, even if it was just a copes of trees. Here, all we see are RVs. Considering the nightly fee, we expected better. No, we didn't expect a riverside lot, though we've had quite a few on this trip for lots less money, but at least some grass (the only grass was on a median separating rows of sites) and a picnic table that wouldn't send splinters up your rear and be situated so that you are staring at the exhaust pipes of your neighbor. Considering the website says lots sell in this place for $125K to $1.2 million, we thought even the low-income area would be far nicer. It appears that many sites, especially those we backed up to, are occupied by long term Southerners seeking some relief from the heat. Their campsites were crowded with large tents and a panoply of camping paraphernalia, giving the place a rather hobo camp feel, albeit an upscale one. Another expectation for this price is decent Wi-Fi but it is weak, even though they pull from 4 towers. Our laptop was OK, and cell service pretty good, but the signal wasn't strong enough for the TV to stay on without buffering on and off constantly. There are many camping options in this area, including lots of private full hook-up ones; we would go elsewhere next time we are in this beautiful area. And, although, not the campground's fault, Creede is a cool blast to the past, but you better plan eating out or doing anything in town before 6 p.m. because this place virtually becomes a ghost town at sundown. We literally stood in the middle of Main St. for a good three minutes without a vehicle approaching. Kinda nice, but just be in the know,

We loved this park and the town of Creede. The park is in a beautiful setting along the river with views of mountains in every direction. Checkin was efficient and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the RV park section. The park is extremely well maintained and beautifully landscaped. Wide, easy to navigate roads. The sites were a generous size with crushed stone surface and a picnic table. Our site was full sun but there are trees planted along the back of the row that will eventually mature for shade. Good WiFi. Large, clean, well provisioned laundry. Fenced dog parks were closed for maintenance while we were here but there were places to leash walk along the edge of the park. We will likely be back next year for another stay.

Park is clean with full hookups. WiFi is okay at best. Reception with AT&T is solid.
Some fun amenities in the park for families but the real show is exploring Creede and surrounding areas.
Management is strict about the rules (don’t go over 5 mph) but that’s what keeps the park in such great shape. If you have a problem with conforming to reasonable rule, this is not the park for you.
First trip was 3 nights. This time was 5 nights. We hope to have more time next year.

Been wanting to come here for years and yes I,m a old guy and hard to please. These other reviews are not accurate. I gave 4 stars because the ladies in office are very nice and efficient. To much off road 4 wheelers, to dusty loose non packing river rock gravel loaded with dust and hard to walk on. A few guest had the crappiest junk filled sites, good management would have sent that junk packing. Probably will not waste my time coming back. The town was totally lacking also. So folks lets do truthful reviews or get more experience judging. The WIFI was terrible and would not load a email page.

We came to Mountain View’s at Riversedge RV Resort because we had friends who were spending their entire summer at this park. As soon as we turned into the park, we knew why our friends chose this location. This park is top notch from the security at the front gate to the size of each site to the views in every direction. All of the roads are made for big rigs to easily maneuver. The interior roads are gravel which cuts down on dust for everyone. Each site is full hook up with both 30 and 50 amp and extra wide, giving everyone room to put up a canopy if they so choose. Many sites had been personalized with canopy, flowers, outdoor kitchens, etc. Each site has a picnic table, but no fire pit. There are trees throughout the park, but none that impede use of the site or parking. I used the laundry and found it very clean, with ample washers and dryers; each machine is $2.00. Normal activities were cancelled because of CoVid, but it appears that under more normal circumstances this park has many activities and social events in and around some lovely community buildings. There is a section of the park that is lease only for those who want a more permanent site, but trust me when I say there is not one site that is not upgraded tastefully and the entire area is very desirable. We stayed in the RV section that is just as desirable, without the long term lease contract. Our site was a back in, but there are many pull-through sites as well. I really do not have anything negative to say about this park except that Verizon coverage is only available on roaming; AT&T was 5 bars 4G/LTE. We will most definitely come back here again.

We had a great experience at the Mountain View’s RV Park. This place felt like the Cadillac of RV parks. It was quiet, exceptionally clean, and very well landscaped. I stayed here a week mid July, and plan on making it a yearly trip for family.

The RV park has a resort side for what appears to be owned sites. We were in the RV park side, which was just fine. The setting of the RV park is in the valley with a river running near it. We were one of maybe 6 guests and there is probably 90 sites, total. It was chilly at night but absolutely beautiful during the day. We bundled up and sipped our coffee outside in the morning. We took a longer than expected drive over to the Great Sand Dunes, which is a must see. When this place gets busy, I am not sure if the experience will be the same but it certainly won't be bad.

We had signed up to stay at this park for a month but wound up leaving after 16 days. The views are incredible! The park is half owners (resort) and half temporary campers (park). The owner sites are truly spectacular with many people building decks, outdoor kitchens etc on their sites. It's fun to walk through and see what people have done. The park sites are large and include a picnic table. We were assigned a spot very near the front office and next to several workkampers. The roads are all gravel so the traffic in and out was pretty annoying and fairly constant. It's possible that we could have moved within the park but we didn't ask. The best views would be along the fence line, in my opinion. The bathrooms were AMAZINGLY clean as was the laundry room!! There were many warnings posted regarding pets...I had seen that on other review sites and was a little wary but we had no issues at all...followed the rules and no problem! There is a dog park but it needs a little attention (not much grass to speak of) - we did not use it much. The river runs along the back side of the owner side. There is not great access there and the river was running very fast when we were there...there is another access point a short hike across a bridge at the back but it was also fast and not too convenient. Creede is a cute town but somewhat lacking in restaurant options, if that is important to you. The theatre was a fun outing! Nice to have a grocery store close by. It closes early so plan ahead. Creede is a great base for day trips to Lake City, Pagosa Springs, even Gunnison. All in all, we would definitely stay again - we would just ask for a more scenic spot, further away from the front of the park. The nightly rate posted is based on the monthly rate we paid.
