First of all, Mountain Home is not a dream destination, but this park certainly is. Beautiful massive sites that are perfectly level, fantastic amenities, and well kept property.
Mostly a mix of older couples and younger military families that are full-time residents with a healthy number of transient campers as well.
Walking distance to Wal-Mart and two other smaller grocery stores. Highly recommend the Soda and Coffee shop down the road (Brie’sta).
We stayed for a month, and the only real complaint was that the older couples that were residents were pretty unfriendly, and all but one of the office staff members were not very kind when we went in to get packages or pay for things. A fairly “clickish” group that quite honestly felt like middle school.
That aside, the only other complaint was a personal preference. We were escorted to our site and told exactly where to park our unit. I’m personally picky about being lined up the way I want on a pad, so I didn’t particularly appreciate being told exactly where I had to be. Not a huge deal, just preference.
Final note is that cable is provided, but the wi-fi is blocked on being used on a tv for streaming, so plan accordingly.
Other than that, this really is a hidden gem. You will not be disappointed in a stay here. First class facility!

Stayed 2 nights in September. The park is lovely. Impeccably maintained. Beautiful green grass and mature trees for shade. Level spots, generously sized. Many amenities, pool, hot tub, dog park, playground, really nice private showers. Friendly helpful staff. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed 2 nights in September. Beautifully maintained park. Mature trees providing shade, level, generous spots. Many amenities, pool, dog park, really nice private showers, very friendly staff. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

Ditto all other reviews. Will add that there was a propane fill. You were close to a Walmart and grocery store. Nice pool and dog park. Reasonable weekly/monthly rates.

I booked a night here last minute as our travel plans changed. They were very helpful on the phone and got us into a pull thru site no problem. Most of the parks I called seemed to be booked full. I booked a night here last minute as our travel plans changed. They were very helpful on the phone and got us into a pull thru site no problem. Most of the parks I called seemed to be booked full. When we arrived they showed us to our site. The whole RV park is very clean and well maintained. There are some long-term residents, mostly in the back half of the park, but everyone kept their lots tidy. They had trees and landscaping throughout, and even though it wasn't far off from the freeway, it was nice and quiet.
All the sites are paved with some grass and landscaping in between. It was very level and had enough room for both our RV and truck, and we weren't too tight to neighbors. The park roads were also very easy to navigate.
honestly, if we weren't just passing through, I wouldn't have minded staying longer.

This review is written from a short stay versus a destination campground (CG) perspective at the end of September. The CG was easy to find, and we followed the instructions in the arrival email to park in front of the office and stay in the vehicle, and somebody would come to us. We did that, and Shelley came out and asked our name, got our package, and escorted us to FHU site 36. We got the normal check-in information at the site versus in the office, which was a nice twist. The site was plenty long enough for our 40’ fifth wheel and F450. The utilities were in the middle of the pad, plus they had two sewer connections, which was nice for us as we have two sewer connections. As advertised, the water pressure was 60+ psi, so we used our reducer. There are trees here, but we were able to use our Starlink. The WiFi was okay, and we got four bars on Verizon. They have two nice fenced dog parks and two laundry facilities. This is one of the better short-stay CGs we have stayed in. This could easily be a destination CG, and if we were to rate it as a destination, we would give it the same score. We just didn't see the area as being a destination, in our humble opinion.

What a gem to fine this park. Staff was extremely friendly & helpful. Roads were wide and easy to navigate. Site was almost perfectly level. Extremely clean. Beautiful park. We camped at Mountain Home RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Grabbed a spot on the way home on a 5k mile trip. The place was stellar - super level concrete pads with attention to detail (e.g. the sewer connections were lowered to ensure proper drainage). Shaded pull through (nice on a 100 degree day) sites. Excellent service and bathrooms so clean you could smell the disinfectant. This place set... more

Shaded pull through (nice on a 100 degree day) sites. Excellent service and bathrooms so clean you could smell the disinfectant. This place sets a high bar. We didn’t use the pool or hot tub but they looked super clean and inviting.

We booked this while waiting in road construction, it looked nice on the pictures. Let me tell you that it MUCH better in person and exceeded expectations. That usually doesn’t happen for me and when it does it’s very exciting.
Nice level pads, green grass and everything is very clean. So impressed!
