Overall Rating

The owner was very friendly and accommodating. She gave us a lake front site and we paid $35 because we didn’t require hookups. Pay with cash or e-transfer, no debit or credit cards.
The sites have electric and water. However, the owner did not tell us that the water at our site would not be potable. Also, she did not tell us that the electric hook up was only 15 amp.
You can hear the highway from the campground so it is not as peaceful as I was hoping. The campground is very wooded and has a small beach area with a very small dock. There is a dump station as well as laundry, showers and bathroom facilities. The drinkable water is available at the front by the office. The campground is gated. The amethyst mines are within a 15 minute drive as well as two provincial parks.
