“Great, Quiet Campground ”

This is a nice city campground. Check in was really easy and access to our site was just as easy. We had a pull thru at the end of a row, with our living space facing the water. Hookups are 30 amp and water, the dump station is very easy to access.
We arrived on a Wednesday and there were only two campers in the park, and no one else in the lower RV area. Even on the weekend the park was very quiet, with only 6 campers in our area. The tent section was busier, but not full.
This is part of a city park that contains a beach area, small restaurant and some amusement rides for young kids. There are geese around, but they weren’t much of a problem. They stay close to the water, so there is no impact further away.
Our AT&T unlimited gives us coverage in Canada, but the signal here is not very good. We had everything from no signal to LTE. At night we could stream, so it was tolerable. There is WiFi at the restaurant, but none in the camping loops.
The road leading to the park is paved, but really bumpy. It’s also a little out of the way for access to Thunder Bay, but not a terrible drive. Overall, we really liked our stay here and would have stayed longer if we could. Very quiet and our view was really nice. We would definitely consider staying here again.
KnKFoster would stay here again

Plan to be out of cell/wifi service if visiting. You cannot work camp from this park, let alone communicate with family/kids back home.
Sporadic cell service throughout grounds. Expect several minutes to get a text out.
Free t bay tel wifi is available though at main check-in but plan to sit on the deck as it does not extend outward from the building.
