The park manager is very pleasant and accommodating. She will show you the available sites and let you choose. They offer Passport America and other discount rates for up to 3 days.
Sites are large enough, mixed grass & sand. Mature trees provide shade and aesthetics. It's about half-mobile home park, with older units and half-RV park (all back-ins with just 1 pull-through site). All ages, saw some families. Folks are friendly. We felt very safe here.
There is a swimming pool and a hottub, both kept clean and free of debris. They've done some renovations and sprucing up since we stayed here last year (for a week). There is a clubhouse (with wifi available), but no scheduled activities. There is a single bathroom in there with a shower that you can use, and we hear there is a gym-room opening soon. The laundry building (out by the dumpsters) has very old machines—some work, some just don't. We go to one of the many well-attended laundromats in town. There apparently used to be a cafe on-site here, but there isn't anymore.
It would be very quiet here all the time if it weren't for the RR crossing less than 1400' away. Trains run (and blow their loud whistles) mostly in the very early morning and very late at night, with an occasional very long train during mid-day. (We got used to them after a while.) There is another route out of here to get to town, with a train overpass—but not for your RV, just your car or truck, as the underpass is low (14') and very narrow.
Nearby ag fields occasionally get sprayed (by tractor, not plane) with poisons late at night, so keep your windows closed overnight if you are chemical-sensitive. We heard that Yuma is the "lettuce capital of the world." Too bad it's not organic.
(Those are really the only downsides here.)
You can receive UPS and Fedex directly to your space number (the drivers are very familiar with this park), but US Mail must be collected at the friendly little Winterhaven post office (short lines!). Note that General Delivery is only good for 30 days, so if you'll be in the area longer than that, go in with a couple of neighbors on a temporary PO box, it will not impact your domicile address. (Avoid the Post Office in Yuma, the lines are long and the clerks insincere.) There are 3 Amazon lockers in town.
Check out the "West Wetlands" park just 3 miles away. A green oasis with a duck (and fishing) pond, trails by the river, and covered picnic gazebos. Events happen there, too, like an annual national geo-caching rally.
There's also the "Yuma Territorial Prison," but we weren't interested in that. You may like the "Cloud Museum" just 8 miles away in Bard—an amazing collection of antique cars & "stuff" artfully arranged; or go see the very odd "Center of the World," 9 miles away in Felicity (population: 2).
The most convenient propane is at Love's travel stop, they dispense 24 hours.
If you need tires or mechanical work on tour motorhome, we highly recommend FTS Automotive on 1701 S Arizona Ave in Yuma. Very trustable work at reasonable cost. Saw a lot of newer rigs there when we went.
It's a short drive to the Mexico border for very cheap prescriptions and dental work in Los Algadones. Bring your passport, and go very early to avoid the long wait standing in line to get out. Lots of Americans walk across that border every day, it's very safe. $6 to park in the gated parking lot just across the road.
Cell service was mostly good in the RV Park (we streamed TV), except over the holiday weekend when it got extremely bogged down for a few days—perhaps there was a lot of extra family visiting the locals.
Overall a pleasant, convenient place to stay near Yuma.

I expected to stay a week and ended up staying 3 months over winter. Price, proximity to Yuma, friendly neighbors, and safety kept me there. Cons are train noise and trucks from nearby agricultural work.
As of winter 2022 $375/month + electric.

This is a family-run old mobile home park gradually turning into an RV park.
Positives - Very friendly owners and staff, very nice newer pool and spa, location is excellent to both downtown Yuma and Los Algodones, and a rarity for most parks in Yuma-- it's not right along the Interstate or train tracks, so relatively quiet at night with only some occasional distant train whistles. We arrived during a very hot and windy day and were glad to get a large site beneath palm trees behind a mobile home that served as a great wind block.
Negatives - About 1/3 of the park have very old, rundown, and downright "trashy" mobile homes. and there looked to be a number of 1/2-finished projects or trash piles in various directions. If the owners could focus a bit more on sprucing up these parts of the park, my rating would be higher. Still though, I'll stay here again for the friendliness, location, and price.

This is awful. Do not even think about this place. Run down. Shabby. Unusable sites.
