Overall this small RV camp area fit the bill and then some for our three nights.
It is a great base camp to visit the water falls, see the magnificent Columbia Gorge, hike the endless trails and be walking distance to the small town of Cascade Locks.
The only minor distraction for some might be the railroad that is very close and at times has numerous trains passing through. Sometimes too you’d hear the sound of the barges as they sounded their horn. We didn’t mind since it fit the scenery and added to the ambiance.
The internet was okay but connectivity was intermittent. If you need it just for basic access, it is okay otherwise a hotspot or other connection (Starlink, etc.) is better.
Overall, I highly recommend. We’ll be back!

We have stayed here a few times in our Class B Van. Our home is in Portland so we have used this park as a weekend escape. There is so much to enjoy here: the view, the people watching, walking around the park, and even walking to town for a meal, a beer, or icecream (or all three!). The park itself has been quiet each time we have stayed. I would say some of the sites are spaced close together but it isn't so close that it is uncomfortable. Our interactions with hosts/staff have been minimal (email or a wave upon arrival). I highly recommend this park for either a weekend away or a stop during a road trip - highway access is convenient. Be warned about (relatively) low clearances to enter the park.

There is a CG Host and park nearby. Grass for the dog. WiFi provided by CG was great. The train is very close but didn’t bother us for one night. That was the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars. Recommend reservations in the Summer. We were here in early October and had no problem getting a site. We paid a “Winter Rate” but I think the CG is closing soon.

Beautiful views of the Columbia River and Bridge of the God's.
The location can be VERY windy as it was when we were there. Too windy to even ride my bike.
The train is very, very close by and could be a problem for some. But we found it charming and thrilling. More noisy rumbling along and honking the horn in the daytime. Less noise at night.

Great spot with a nice river view! Camp host was very nice. Bathrooms are clean. Thunder Island across the bridge is a beautiful place to walk around. Short walk to good burgers and ice cream up on the main road too. First time here and we already booked another stay for next month.

We have electric and water hookups. 4 bars LTE on ATT. Tall rigs note there is a low bridge so you may not make it here so check that in the other reviews as I recall someone did mention the height. We just stopped for one overnight but would stay here again. The trains mentioned in other reviews weren’t that bothersome for us.

County/Port has done a nice job of running and maintaining this small # of sites and small site campground. Originally I had several days booked but my day-adventure bicycle broke-down before arriving so the reservation was changed to one night . . .on arriving it was a Gosh - Darn moment as even without the bicycle adventures this would be a great location to explore. . . I will be back.
As my visit was late April everything was still in closed/winter mode and the CG had few visitors. Would expect during the 'summer season' reservations are a good idea.
Consumer Cellular coverage very good (two cell towers south of town).
CG wi-fi was excellent. . . . but only 3 campers an no boats at the dock.
Port folks I dealt with via phone . . very helpful and friendly.

Very convenient to town. Great camp host. You can reserve online or pay for a site there, if there are any available. We were herr October 2021 and each night had at least a few open sites.
We had a stellar view of the Bridge of the Gods, the Columbia River, Thunder Island and the old locks. There’s a museum, a park, lots of paths to walk, town is literally across the railroad track, and the list goes on. During “off season” it’s only $26 nightly with electric hookups. There is a low bridge to go under with 12’ clearance and a tight turn that big rigs may have an issue with. The train runs often and it can be pretty loud, but didn’t bother us too much. The pros far outweighed the cons! If you ever find yourself here, take a walk on Thunder Island and also drive across the Bridge of the Gods. Spectacular views!!
