This is a good little park. Stayed here a couple times now. So close to civilization, yet quiet and tranquil.
Verizon good.
AT&T okay.

This is my first stay here and everything has been great. Looking forward to coming back as soon as possible. Site 17 is nice but if you’re tent camping as I am currently, you may want to avoid this site as the ground is rock hard everywhere making stakes unusable so my tent is only secured down by the weight inside and I can’t extend the corners out fully for the most room possible. Just nitpicking though, it hasn’t been a problem and I’m enjoying myself. 5 stars I love this place thank you for having me!

Great park, very clean, level sites. Included Sewer is dump station, not at the site, but that works great for us. The only draw back is the cell service. We had only 2 bars on Verizon and Tmobile, and even with a cell booster could not use the Internet to work here.

We were pulling out right at the time we were supposed to leave, but we pulled off with our Jack still down. 😳 The ranger brought a power saw to cut the pedestal because we couldn’t get it back up it was too bent. We have camped at 3 or 4 other places and this is our favorite. Can’t wait to see the trail back open.

Nice day use area with basketball courts, playground, fishing pond and Lake Apopka is right across the street. 18 spots. Very Clean. Basically in the woods, tons of shade. Mosquitoes 🦟 are a problem tho. Close to Disney. 23 bucks! All other campgrounds around here are 50 to 80 bucks cause of Disney etc being close (30 minutes).
Internet for Vzw 30 down, 5 up. Att is weak. 4.9 down, .06 up. OTA TV is great. 53 channels. If you are doing a Disney trip.....this would be an awesome jump off spot that would not break the bank. It's half empty now too, but alot of places are down here now in this blazing hot swamp! I'd for sure stay again, just hopefully in cooler weather.

We were at site 13 and needed to level a little bit, but other than that very easily accessible for our camper. If we stayed again I would select from sites 1, 2, 6, or 9 as they offered a little more privacy. The loop has additional parking spots for extra vehicles or visitors and trash is easily accessible. Bathhouses were decently clean with hot water and good water pressure. Loved the access to the park for daily walks and the Apopka Wildlife Drive is a must do. The highway is not too far away and you can hear the road noise just slightly, but nothing crazy. We would definitely stay here again!

Very pretty little park located close to SR 429 and Lake Apopka. Our site (#6) was nice and deep, paved with asphalt. It was very unlevel from side to side, about 5” drop. Spent about an hour with Andersen levelers and wood blocks trying to get close to level.

The sites were almost level, and both sites had lots of trees. The sites are laid in such a way that there was enough space to back our 27 foot RV into the site.
The sites have water and electric and there is a dump-station on the premises. There was also a picnic table and a fire-pit. There are restrooms and showers but we did not use them.
Ronnie, the manager, was wonderful, as was the camp-host.

We would like to rent 3 sites for a family get together. How far out can you reserve the sites? Are there any motels nearby for those that do not camp? Best outdoor activities? (Kayaking, bikes, tubing?)
