We stayed here the first time October 25th-November 2nd the first time. We were in spot 16. The pad was very broken up and it was a challenging level. It also was facing the path to the bath house, so there was not much privacy with all the foot traffic. The second time we stayed was November 15-18th. We were in spot 4 and this was a fairly level site with a good concrete pad. Both spots had a lot of ants and both times the staff came and put down poison. One of the folks we talked to in another spot was invaded by the ants, so be prepared to have them come and knock them out. The shower house was clean as well. This is a great little park with peacocks and across from the lake access. Good access to Orlando and just a short drive away. We will definitely stay here again.

A lovely, lush county park inhabited by a flock of "who the hell do you think you are, I was hanging out in this spot first" peacocks. The giant rainbow birds didn't bother us, but they also weren't bothered by us. It was excellent.
The roads in/out/around the camping area of this park are a bit tight for bigger rigs like us - but totally doable. We also came in the incorrect entrance after noting a sign on the gate that said to 'go to the next entrance' - but was apparently there for if you arrived *after* hours. Oops. It was fine, just more curves to navigate getting in.
Sites are *mostly* decently spaced - with one or two being closer to neighbors than the rest.
H20/30A/50A + a dump station. A firepit and picnic table at each site. Sites are asphalt with gravel tent/picnic pads. Site 13 was a bit un-level back to front, but completely doable with levelers.
Pretty quiet at night - a bit of road noise but nothing obnoxious.
Our power pedestal stopped working a few days into out stay, but the team at Magnolia had it fixed pretty quickly.
Bathrooms were decently clean and water was warm.
The running here is AMAZING. Across the road, in the public/boat launch area of the park, there is access to a long gravel trail that runs along the lake and through wetlands. SO MANY GATORS and giant birds and leaping fish. Endless entertainment. Lots of bikers on this trail too.
Only ~20 minutes from Universal Studios.

The first turn is a bit tricky, but go slow and plan ahead. We fit a 40’ full profile toyhauler in so almost anything can fit but there are only a few sites to squeeze in.

In the day use section there are lots of picnic areas, a couple of nice playgrounds and a pond, along with 3 wild peacocks who have taken up residence. There is a loop drive around that whole section which makes for a lovely walk. Across the road the park continues down to Lake Apopka where the sunsets are beautiful! There is also a boat launch available. From there you can take a path that follows around the lake. We hiked just a short distance and didn't make it past the first section that follows the road. I believe the majority of the path leaves the road and is right by the lake. It looked like an excellent route for bicycles.
