Yes you can. The campground has a place to put into the river on one end and a place with steps to take out on the other end You could even dump a car down river and go further down river. We did this last summer.

Well we stayed in the dead of winter, but I believe it is the same river that tube rentals down the road offers. Besides I’ve been going since my childhood to these mountains and hiked or swam in many areas. Just be respectful and clean up after yourselves. Little Arrow is an awesome campsite.

The river runs right by the campground. You can get in the river there. If you have your own tubes, you could tube from there. There are also several businesses where you can rent tubes and they will take you to a designated drop off spot, pick you up at the end and take you back to your car. Check out River Rats.

There is a path to get to the water. its kind of steep down the river bank from some of the campsites.
