Loved this park above the Bad River. Well cared for, spacious sites, grassy. W + E, no restrooms, no showers but good Verizon signal and a couple OATV channels and a quiet night.

Wide gravel back in sites. All are easy backin's. If its hot try for sites 1 and 4 they are shaded. The others minimal to no shade.
Dump station on exit. Sites have power and water. You are right next to a large park area for walking the dog etc. Out of the way place, very quiet.
Was here over a 3 day weekend. Thursday afternoon people started dropping cars off to save spaces..... But during a normal week, bet its dead.

This is first come, first serve. We didn’t have an issue on a Sunday. Nice big sites. We were able to ride our bikes over to the bridge and then onto the Lewis and Clark trail.

We did not actually stay here. Beautiful sites, nice looking small campground with sites spaced out. We arrived on a Thursday only to find half the sites had cars parked in them with no one there. Asked a camper what was the deal. She said they were “saved” for the weekend. So much for first come, first served…

We rode our bikes across the Missouri River at the bridge. Then road along the river through steamboat park, onto La Famboise island, griffin park and Farm Island rec site. No continuous bike trail on this side of the river but streets are not busy. The other side through the parks is good. We got here about 4 pm on a Wednesday and there were 2 sites left.
