I had to stay on site one Friday night, then site two Saturday night. Site one tilted horribly to the right. Four blocks to get close enough to level too make the night tolerable. Had to use a tote as an extra step after all this. The surge protector has a very hard time staying plugged in. The tank disposal is actually too high to get a good flow so we never used it
Site two is also very uneven. However we were able to use the septic here. Both sites are very quiet.
Walking to the beach and lake is a matter of your own health and ability. I have a prosthetic leg and can make the walk to the beach waspretty worn out for the walk back.
I’d stay here again, but will be careful about which site I get

Other reviewers mentioned the windy, narrow entrance road, so we kind of knew what we were getting into, but after having experienced it I can’t recommend this park to folks with longer rigs. The paved public road leading to the entrance road to the park (South Lakeside Road) is a very narrow two-lane road with a few blind turns, and the entrance road (South Zephyr) is even narrower. The road past the entrance booth is a single-lane road that serves traffic in both directions for about two-tenths of a mile, and then from there it’s a one-way hard gravel road with more turns and tall pine trees on both sides. I later went back on foot and took some photos of the road which I uploaded with this review. We managed to not hit or scrape anything with our dually truck and our 37 foot-long fifth-wheel, but it was not fun.
The next challenge was leveling our RV. The campground has three short rows of RV sites, and while the front row looks to be more level front-to-back, the back two rows are on a noticeable incline. Our front jacks can go up pretty high, but if we hadn’t put almost twelve inches of block underneath them, I’m not sure they would have been enough. When we were done, I could walk my six foot-tall self under the cap of our camper without having to duck my head: a first for me. Front-to-back inclines like that are harder to deal with the longer your rig is.
But if you can deal with all that or have a smaller rig, this is not a bad little campground. In addition to the 17 RV sites with water and electric hookups, there is a row of tent sites at the bottom of the hill along the road to exit the campground. Between the tents sites and the RV sites is a well-maintained grass field enclosed by a wood fence, and within that area is a small bathhouse with two camp sinks. Adjacent to this area are two RV sites for the campground hosts, and next to their sites is a little booth from which they sell bags of ice and bundles of firewood.
The campground is not right on Liberty Lake: there is a stretch of wetlands between the campground and the lake, and you can’t really see the lake from most areas of the campground. The Liberty Lake Loop Trail starts at the left end of the campground and runs past the wetlands into the woods, joining up with other trails. If you want to reach the lake, there is a different trail that starts on the right end of the campground. It parallels the exit road for a short distance before cutting across it and passing between various day-use park structures before reaching a small public beach. Dogs are not allowed on the beach but are allowed everywhere else (including the trails) as long as they are on-leash.
The campground is very quiet during the day (no road noise here!) and deer will occasionally wander through empty sites and graze in the grass field.
In terms of cell service, the average speed I got on my Verizon Jetpack with MIMO antenna during our stay was about 40Mbps down and 11Mbps up, and we had no trouble at all steaming video for the three nights we were there. The one speed test I did with my AT&T phone showed 60Mbps down and 4.6 up.
We would not return here because of the roads.

The road coming in was a bit windy, but not too bad. We had no problem navigating our 36 ft TT. The campground is right on the main trail, which is fit for hikers and bikers. It's a short walk to the beach and playground area. This was a great spot, conveniently located between Spokane and Coeur d’Alene.

The road into the park is narrow for one vehicle and beyond me what would happen if someone was coming the other direction. I have a 36' motorhome and happened to be pulling a trailer the day I visited Liberty Lake Regional Campground. It was a nail biter driving in and down a windy narrow road to the campground. Once there all the spots for our group were long but the slope was so severe even a 24' motorhome could not level. The trailer trailer next to us had at least 15" of wood stacked below his tongue jack extended all the way.
I'll pass on going there again.

Road to park is windy and narrow. We were in truck camper so no problem. Showers were shut down briefly for repair. Site was a pull-thru, and we enjoyed the walking path to the lake. We enjoyed this park and location quite a bit

1. The drive in is a bit tight, but with our 40' Class A there were no issues. I'd have no issues bringing a larger coach in, but it is admittedly not ideal. This is no resort and there are some overhanging branches. I twanged my radio antenna but kept the branches off the coach otherwise.
2. The sites are narrow but with plenty of room for the slides and awnings. I've been in very expensive RV parks that cater to Class A's that were much tighter. All sites are gravel and our site was not level front to back; side to side was fine. I had to block up the front end to get level but it wasn't an issue. The host offered to loan us extra blocks if we needed them.
3. Check in went great. We arrived at 12:30 and had no issues getting into our site. The camp hose was very helpful.
We enjoyed this park. It's not a perfect site, but it's plenty nice for the price.
