i took my 20ft bumper pull in there and did get caught on a tree. the large place that appears to be a turn around is really deep sand. i would not recommend anything other than vans or tent campers down there. it's ok. pretty shady so not going to be able to charge your solar panels unless they are detachable. there is some connectivi... more
i took my 20ft bumper pull in there and did get caught on a tree. the large place that appears to be a turn around is really deep sand. i would not recommend anything other than vans or tent campers down there. it's ok. pretty shady so not going to be able to charge your solar panels unless they are detachable. there is some connectivity but i didn't stay around long after i got my trailer off the tree..

We loved it but way to much local traffic and 4wheelin and Ranger said only tenting or cars allowed overnight here. NO Cell Svc

One ginormous class C at the very bitter end (will they ever be able to leave again??). Me with a wrangler and a tab 320 at second most remote spot. No one else.
Only noise came from the wind.

If your in the space of the two or four wheelers be ready to be bullied out. They dont even belong there in that scruff but they have taken it over. If your in the space of the two or four wheelers be ready to be bullied out. They dont even belong there in that scruff but they have taken it over. The locals are friendly and give plenty of advice about staying in their woods. Ocala Nat’l Forest belongs to us all. I am a Floridian and a lifetime member of the Forestry. the OTV ATV etc are very RUDE. There was a race in the Astor area and the woods was full of these dangerous rides where they were not allowed to be. They run from the rangers. $500 tickets doesn’t deter these people. They bully to try and claim their stakes back in the woods to camp the race out. NO CELL SVC. And LOTS of Trash (of course we filled a black bag full and a local took it out). We will not go back although the Lake Dorr was beautiful we fished and paddle boated but the harassment was not worth it. We just would not give up. We old folks wont be bullied anymore.
