Before our arrival we got a call from the staff checking on the time we'd be there. They wanted to ensure someone was there when we got there, which was a nice touch. Our site was site #4 and it was decent. The Campground is very dusty, so expect to use outdoor rugs if you have them. The dust does get everywhere! The Campground itsel... more

Our site was site #4 and it was decent. The Campground is very dusty, so expect to use outdoor rugs if you have them. The dust does get everywhere!
The Campground itself is very relaxed and quiet, the staff is wonderful and the fellow Campers were all very friendly and conversational!
We stayed here for a month and enjoyed it! Would definitely stay again!

(Stayed here 2/18/22) Sites are TIGHT! Our site was right next to the horse stables. It is a very beautiful campground and great for campers with horses! The people were very nice and friendly. But not a place for families or campers without children. Like I said.... it is ideal for campers with horses, not much to do for anyone els... more

It is a very beautiful campground and great for campers with horses! The people were very nice and friendly. But not a place for families or campers without children. Like I said.... it is ideal for campers with horses, not much to do for anyone else. The cell and TV reception was not good, I used a hotspot. It is close to Mt. Dora which is a very cute town to visit.

Overall Rating
Great place to bring your horses and get to the trails in the Ocala national forest very easily. There is a recreation room with pingpong, games and directTV. There are stalls, paddocks and even a dog run. Very conveniently located between Ocala, Daytona and Orlando within an hour.
