I don’t know why the interstate noise doesn’t bother me as much as others but it is not a factor for me. I have been staying here for over 20 years as i have visited my family in the area. I have tried other parks but keep coming back to this one. I usually stay in the front area in a pull through site near the bath house. All sites that i have used are concrete pads and are level. Others use the back-in sites at the lake front and can literally fish out of their back doors. They also have access to a in-ground fire pit along the lake. I love the big oak trees and the shade. The staff are great and helpful and pleasant. The two pools are well maintained, as are the lovely updated bath/shower rooms. They pick up your trash at your site every morning. The oak trees are trimmed so that they offer shade but do not interfere with your rig. I enjoy the shaded areas in the summer which are also closer to the pools, but would pay for the higher priced settings in the back which have no shade in the winter - just because of the nice patches of grass and the patios with swings and furniture. While you are there you must look for the “cake lady” who has lived there for years and buy one of her cakes! Absolutely wonderful. Also Billies next door has the very best boudin balls I’ve ever eaten!

Very pleasant and friendly staff at check in. One of the few KOA’s that we have been to with no escort to our site. The roads are large enough for large rigs and it was easy to find our site. The site was a pull through with plenty of space. Close to highway and easy to find. We were in the new area and the sites are very nice with grass and spacious. The campground surrounds a lake which allows fishing (no license needed) and pedal boats. The older section of the park needs some work. The pads were cracked concrete and close together. Lots of activities for families during the summer.

Pricey! $70 for bigger rigs in back. Flat concrete, some have pond views, some built in bbq & picnic tables.
Office great, propane on site $30 for 40lb tank.
Pizza at Rochetto’s excellent- 1/2 mile away or deliver

We only stayed one night as we were on our way to Florida from Texas. Park hosts/employees were nice and helpful. The park was clean and appeared to be well maintained.
Prior to booking our stay, I read the reviews that recommended staying towards the back of the park due to traffic noise. This was a great recommendation. We stayed in one of the premium spots that backed up to the back side of the lake. We were given site 305. It was a nice level concrete pad with full hookup. The site had a large fire pit and gazebo with table and charges on the back side of the site overlooking the small lake.
Good place for an overnight stay. The traffic noise is loud from the freeway.
Would have no issues booking there again if we find ourselves in the area.

These sites are furthest from interstate PLUS they have patios with a pergola, furniture, swing, grill and are lakeside! Not much extra price wise but worth it. We were in site 12 which faces lake (no shade) but there is a road between site and lake. Didn’t use any amenities so can’t rate. I do feel that the mini golf, pedal boats, kayaks should be free to campers but are an extra cost. I think they charge for cable also but got 25+ channels on our antenna. WiFi is AWESOME! Nice lady at office said park was built in the late 60’s before I-10. Store on site is well stocked with necessities and RV supplies.

We stayed here overnight in January 2022. There is interstate noise, but we’ve had way worse. The laundry room is big, very clean and has counter space for folding. It rained almost the entire time we were there and the site had good drainage. Strong cell service.

Ended up here to ride out the holiday weekend and storms. I10 is literally 10 ft away as well as the on/off ramp. The noise was unbearable. Sites are small and tight.
No sleep, jake brake, sirens, never ending loud, did I say noisy? traffic. Never, ever again will we stay here. They need to put up a wall or something.

Decided to stay here last minute passing through LA.
Management: They answered immediately and gave us all info we needed. They provided all information and local recommendations upon arriving and gave us a choice of several spots, and even told us of where they had more reservations coming in. We snagged a sweet spot second row in from the lake and had a neighbor for just one night of our stay.
Site:
Site was level, very clean, and we found that they spray for bugs (added bonus). Beautiful trees surrounding the campsite with some full time residents there. They had two pools on site and the lake looked great. The WiFi was okay but not strong enough for us to use for work (we had our own ATT&T and Verizon which worked perfectly).
Facilities: really nice facilities, laundry room had a nice little space to sit and work while waiting for the laundry to be done. The bathrooms we nice and clean every time.
Area: the KOA is located at the end of two roundabouts, most stores are about 15-20 mins to get to. There is a fresh market, world market, home goods, sporting goods stores - and plenty of restaurants in the area.
This place saved us from an awful reservation and we would definitely stop back on our way through!

Beautiful campground close to freeway. Very noisy in the front spaces by freeway. We had to shout over the freeway noise to be heard. There are spaces in the back that are much quieter. I’d recommend those. They come with a fire pit, bbq and a swing. Large nice spaces. A bit overpriced though.
