Stays there 7/22 unexpectedly when the motor home had a mechanical breakdown. The park was gravel and spaced fairly close together. The noise wasn’t bad. Close to restaurants and Walmart. Great for a one night stopover.

I suspect there are not a lot of options in this part of Colorado, but I expected a little better for the price of a KOA. The sites are slammed together. Some of the big rigs with slide outs just about touched. While the bathrooms were reasonably clean, I could have done without the juvenile potty humor posted on all of the walls. We went to play mini-golf and between the bugs and the dead bird carcasses we gave up. The campground is right next a road the leads to Walmart and seems to be the teeny speedway complete with bass bounding audio. Wifi was spotty when it was working. I mentioned it to the person in the office twice and it continued to provide no internet connection. All in all, a major disappointment.

I was a bit worried about stopping here given some of the reviews but was pleasantly surprised. Everything seems fine to me. Site is level. No mud pit as reported by others last year.

Very tight pull through spaces with full service. No shade. We were here June 10, 2021. The park was full and very noisy. The staff was friendly but the food service was poor. I was charged $.50 for one extra pack of ketchup! I would not stay here again unless I had no other choices. At this time I had no other choice for the night.

We stayed here on our way back to Kansas from Durango, CO in our travel trailer. It's a decent KOA. I've been to worse, a lot worse. The only complaint I had was when we checked in and went to our assigned spot, someone was already there. After driving 300 miles in hot weather, I wasn't in the mood to walk back to the office and get a new spot. However, the staff said they messed up and told us to take the spot next to the one we originally had. So, that went well. Decent WIFI, too. If you have dogs, you can walk them just outside of the KOA property and let them do their business. The campground was quiet and everyone seemed to be nice. We would stay here again.

Much of the campground is closed as renovations continue. No attempt has been made to keep the open sites dry. Would advise calling ahead to get an update on their construction before reserving a spot.

So it is the end of a long day, the next closest park is almost 2 hours away, but there is a Walmart nearby and several free spots. Our advise, drive the 2 hours or boondock because nothing could be this bad. That of course is hindsight. We were told that there was an event scheduled for the evening and that during said event they would be allowing only foot traffic. The event would start at 7pm and would stop promptly at 10pm. For our inconvenience we were offered free admission to said event which we declined. We saw the Halloween decorations and thought how nice they are doing something for the community! The noise was so loud that the glasses and windows in our RV vibrated. We were so grateful when 9:59 rolled around, but at 10:07 my husband went outside to find out why the”music” and fright night noise was continuing, finding no one from the park in sight he unplugged the loud speaker. Another camper thanked him as he was returning to our rig. We have no idea where they were but we do know that there had not been a single person partaking of the entertainment for over an hour as we heard them announce “new meat” with each new entry. Seriously! An event, how about telling folks that it was going to be incredibly noisy for 3 solid hours, or offering reduced rate for the night! We would have opted to leave rather than be subjected to the noise. Extremely poor management. As for the site, length not an issue and it was level however my husband had to move several decorations so that he could navigate to the site and one must position very carefully if your rig has slides on both sides, the sites are a bit narrow.
