Easy check-in. Electric only, which is fine for the $20 price. The office can only accept cash or check, so be prepared. The sites are gravel, fairly level and widely spaced. Lots of trees and lots of deer when we pulled in at dusk.
We will use the dump station on our way out. It’s just south of the check-in station.

Nice campground with evenly spaced sites and mostly level sites that have electric at each site. Water spigots throughout the campground and potable at the dump station for filling RV’s. The inner loop sites back up to each other so they aren’t as private as the outer loop sites. The bathhouses are minimal – one toilet stall in the men’s (shower house 1) and one urinal, 2 showers. Not very nice and questionably clean. The grounds themselves are nicely kept. As someone else mentioned, watch out for the speed bumps, they are wicked. I did not have a reservation on a Tuesday night and got a site easily enough but there were a considerable number of sites occupied for mid-week. Cash only. Strong Verizon 4g signal.

Shot drive off I 74. Easy registration with very friendly host. Beautiful park with plenty of space between sites. We were able to get right across from bathhouse which we appreciated. Electric only which was all we needed.

Spots aren’t complete level but isn’t that was leveling jacks are for. All sites have a picnic table and a fire pit. Our site had 30 Amps as well and trash dumpster are everywhere so no excuse to make a mess. Dump station is on the way in and in the way out. Plus they have potable water and non potable water. Over all great stay but why the 4 stars. I’ll tell you. Speed bumps. In my option they are wayyy to big. They rattle your rig quite well so be careful. Even the camp host warned us about the.

Our site was on a concrete slab, was level and quite large due to it being handicapped accessible. Really nice campground and park. Shower area we OK, what you expect in a state park. The staff here was pretty friendly, and were quite busy as there was a storm the night we arrived and many downed trees/branches that needed to be cleared. Will look to stay here again in November.

My but is there is NO WATER at the sites. I guess I missed that information somewhere. Also, like all too many public parks, sanitation especially in the rest rooms was spotty at best. I don't think anyone cleaned the rest rooms near our site while we stayed. We also had some large groups for neighbors complete with dogs barking most of the day. That is always a disappointment in an otherwise wonderful setting. Surprisingly, though we felt we were in a nice woods, there was constant highway noise through the night. I guess we were closer to the Interstate than we thought.
Again, this is a lovely setting, it's too bad people can't do a better job of maintaining it.
